Simple Salsa

- 5 Fresh Chile peppers (jalapenos, Serranos, or habaneros work well), diced shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 medium sized onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 medium sized tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 2 limes, halved shopping list
- 1 tbsp vinegar (optional) shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a metal mixing bowl combine the vinegar, peppers, garlic and cilantro
- Add the juice of one lime, and stir with a fork
- Add the onion and the tomato
- Add 1/2 of the remaining lime, stir
- If needed, add remaining lime
- Add salt to taste
- Stir, cover and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend.
- Serve with chips, or as a garnish for any food that could use some spice

We live on this stuff... although you use WAY more hot peppers than I do... I eat it on everthing.. I think I have one posted not sure.
