Slow Cooker Russian Chicken

- 1 16 oz Bottle of Russian Dressing (can be hard to find so Catalina can be substituted, but the end result will have a less rich taste) shopping list
- 1 Envelope dry onion soup mix shopping list
- 1 10 Oz. Jar apricot jam/preserves shopping list
- chicken pieces shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine First three ingredients in a bowl
- Season Chicken with salt and pepper and place in the bottom of slow cooker
- Pour mixture over Chicken
- Cook on Low for 6-8 Hours (or on High for 3-4 hours)
- This recipe can also be made in the oven, follow steps exactly except place chicken in a casserole dish and bake at 350 for one hour
- Serve over rice

My mother made this when we were young. 40 years later, my brother & I each asked for the recipe and she couldn't remember it. Can't wait to tell him I found it here!
