Plantation Sour Cream Cookies

Recipe published 1935 "The Souther Cook Book of Fine Old Dixie Recipes".
Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup rich sour cream shopping list
- 1 cup butter shopping list
- 3 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 4 cups flour (or enough so that it drops from the spoon nicely) shopping list
How to make it
- Cream the butter ans sugar and add the sour cream in which the soda has neen dissolved. Beat the eggs well and add. Add the vanilla, nutmeg and then the flour. Drop from a spoon on a well-greased cookies pan and bake in a moderate oven 350^F until well browned, about 12 minutes.
