Chunky Spaghetti Bolognese

- 1 lb lean ground beef shopping list
- 2 medium carrots, diced shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 14 oz 1 stewed tomatoes shopping list
- 5 oz tomato paste shopping list
- 1/4 c water shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp oregano, dried shopping list
- 1 tsp basil,dried shopping list
How to make it
- In a non-stick skillet brown beef and drain liquids/fat. Add onion, garlic and carrots and saute for 5 minutes. In the meantime, bring salted water to a boil and cook your favourite spaghetti or pasta to al dente. Add stewed tomatoes, tomatoe paste, water, oregano and basil. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5-7 minutes covered. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir occasionally. Serve hot over spaghetti.
