Chapter 2 - Shadow of Malevolence

You won't leave your starship in this mission...seems like Star Fox could learn a lesson or two from this. To begin, fly towards your portable dock and press the Switch Character button to dock with it. Fly to the bottom level and land at the area signified by a red cross.

After hopping out of your ship, follow the stud trail north and pull the red switch to activate the proton torpedo generator. Then, hop back in your ship, move over the purple ball to snag some torpedoes, and then press the Action Button to shoot the purple panels to your right.

Reload your proton torpedoes and find your portable dock once more --- it's time to head back to the top level. Shoot all three purple panels to break open the very ship you're flying around.

Inside, you'll see three satellites that are serving as shield generators. Destroy each one and then land your ship. Follow the path to the south to make your way to the red switch. Pulling the switch will activate the proton torpedo generator, which means that you won't have to constantly return to the lower level to reload your torpedoes (thank the Maker).

Load up some torpedoes and destroy all five pink panels --- there should be two right next to you and three far away to the west. When you destroy the three to the west, another room in the ship will reveal itself to you.

Destroy the satellites in that area to take down the blue shield and you'll be rewarded with another proton torpedo generator. Collect some torpedoes and destroy the two remaining pink panels to open up the thermal exhaust port on this ship.

Grab some more torpedoes and find your mobile docking station. Fly down to the lower level and locate the thermal exhaust port to the east. You're all clear kid, so let's blow this thing and go home!
