Zombie Cat

Zombie cat at night
rises from his grave
and shambles through the cemetery
looking to eat some brains.

That's because he's dead,
the only way to put him down
is to shoot him in the head.

Jiang Shi

The Jiang Shi are a type of animated corpse in many Eastern cultures. Like western vampires they rest in crypts or coffins during the day and only terrorize at night. Traditionally the Jiang Shit absorbs the victim's life essence, or chi, although more modern depictions will show them sucking blood.

Jaing Shi are unable to properly walk as their bodies are stiff with rigor mortis, and must move around by hopping with their arms stretched out.

Necroconstruct

A necroconstruct is a semi-independent being constructed out of dead biomatter (usually corpses) along with various technological implants. As such they can come in any number of shapes or sizes, dependent upon only their creator's ability and imagination. Not zombies in the true sense (as they are animated by science instead of supernatural means) necroconstructs tend to show only the most basic of behavior and motor functions, and as such are usually used as guards, shock troops, or cannon fodder. The process of creating such abominations was originally developed for military use but was later abandoned as too expensive and unreliable. Necroconstructs are most commonly employed nowadays by gangs, druglords, and terrorist organizations.

Soul Stealer

Soul Stealers are are hideous, incredibly strong, super zombies, but instead of craving the flesh of the living they feed from their victim's soul. Such creatures gain this ability through evil magics and demonic pacts. Although drinking from the souls of others imbues one with great powers, the act in itself corrupts the body and mind, until eventually all that is left is a disgusting, vile thing, no longer resembling human.

Frankenstien's Monster

The ghoulishly strong monster created by a mad scientist in 1818, the Frankenstien's monster was never given a name in the official narrative. The creature is not described much beyond being large, ugly, and ogreish. The process by which he is created is not described in detail either, although it is hinted that various raw materials (including body parts) are included. Much of what has become the modern version of the monster (i.e. the flat head, prominent brow ridge, bolts in the neck, zombie-like locomotion, largely inarticulate groaning, green skin, etc) comes from the 1931 Universal film.
