LOTS OF LOVE VALENTINE MAILBOX | with Wanda

Hi everyone! It's time to decorate for Valentine's Day and get ready for all those love letters! I used the Lots of Love Collection today to create my sweet little Valentine Mailbox! I hope I get lots of mail! The mailbox form came from a big box craft store and I covered it with fabulous Doodlebug Paper, Stickers, Doilies and embellishments! What a fun project to make. It's on display in my craft room right now.

The new Lots of Love Collection has so many things that I love: Red/Aqua/Pink palette, hearts, a mail theme, and flowers. The perfect Valentine collection, don't you think?!

I used the 12x12 cardstock to cover the top of the mailbox. I used acrylic craft paint to paint the flag and also the inside of the front flap.

Q

I wanted a 3D decoration for the front/top of the mailbox.... So I die cut out six hearts and glued them together. I topped them off with a heart gem. I inked the edges with red distress inks. I glued it on the front. I glued a doily on top of the box and added a circle embellishment. For the front I used other embellishments from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends packs of the Lots of Love Collection!

Here's a photo of my plain mailbox before I started out! SO FUN.

I glued on a floral banner to the side and added a few heart shaped Sprinkles.

Seriously - those cute little smiling letters make me so happy!!

That's it for my first project with Lots of Love! I hope I've inspired you to create some fun Valentine's Décor! I'll see you soon and until then, happy crafting my friends!

VALENTINE MAILBOXES | with Stephanie

Hello Doodlebug friends! Stephanie here, sharing two little Valentine Mailboxes featuring lots of lovely Doodlebug colors, textures and images! It’s been a few years since my kids have made Valentines for classmates and friends, but I still love creating projects for this fun holiday! Here’s a look at my project for today.

I used my Silhouette machine to cut this mailbox from Lori Whitlock.  For the main part of the boxes I used Wood Grain/Buffalo Check petite prints in Pistachio and Bubblegum. The accent colors and images are all from the Love Notes collection. I added some heart shaped Sprinkles in a few places for a little shine.

The cut file comes with a tiny envelope that fits into the opening. How cute is that?

Here’s a look at the second box.  All the images I used to embellish my boxes are die cuts from the Love Notes Chit Chat and Odds and Ends packs.

Surprise, the little door opens and you can pull out the notes.

If you are looking for an adorable little box to give or receive some fun Valentine’s, this is it! That’s it for my project share, thanks for stopping by today!
