PLANNER PAGES USING 'ALL OCCASION STAMPS' | with Nathalie

I had lost my planner-decorating mojo lately but as soon as I received the new All Occasion collection stamps I couldn't wait to jump back into it! The Holidays and Everyday sets are perfect for planners, not to mention the Calendar stamps!
They have tons of icons including some hard to find like Canada Day or Hanukkah. I paired the stamps with the Simply Spring collection to decorate my March monthly pages in a Doodlebug Travel Planner insert.
I have filmed part of my process so that you could see how I approached this spread. I was excited to find that the numbers from the Handwritten Calendar set fit perfectly into the tiny flag stamp from the Holidays set.
I followed by selecting icons from both the Holidays and Everyday sets to record events during the month. I love how cute they look! I finished with stickers, washi tapes, patterned papers and a Doodle Pop.

I love how Springy my pages ended up looking. A pretty planner is definitely more motivating!
How will you use your All Occasion stamps? I'd love to see so make sure to use the tag #doodlebugdesign if you share on Instagram or link us to your projects in the comments here!

LOVE NOTES PLANNER PAGES | with Anabelle

Planning in my spiral planner is always fun. But, planning when it's been decorated with the beautiful Love Notes collection is EXTRA special. I really loved using this collection to design my Valentine's Day week in my planner. Doesn't it look pretty?
I started off by adding the perforated washi tape along the bottom and the floral tape along the top. I decided I wanted to trim some of the papers from the 6 by 6 pad to make boxes for my vetical planner. Box shaped planner stickers are some of my favorites to use. So, I thought I'd make some to fit the 1.5" wide boxes on my pages. Well, wasn't I pleasantly surprised to find that the journaling tags paper in the pad had boxes that were exactly that size! I trimmed them apart and added them to the pages.
Since I use this planner for school, I don't plan on the weekend sections. Instead, I added a few die cuts and Tiny Type stickers to make my To Do section.  I added a few more stickers from the Icon and Small Icon sets to finish off the design.
I never seem to have enough space to write my lists, so I created a pocket which I inserted into this week's spread.
I used a card from one of the Card packs. I used a planner punch to punch the left side and added a strip of washi to the other. Then, I cut one of the journaling cards to fit. The floral Chit Chats provide a decorative look. I only adhered them to the actual card, so the journaling tag can still slide out.
Finally, I added the number stickers from the Tiny Type and created some adorable planner clips from the coordinating Doodle Pops. To do so, I simply adhered them to the paper clips with some hot glue. You can adhere a punched paper circle to the back, to finish it off.
As you can see, my planner is ready to go for Valentine's Day. I love how bright and fun it looks!

LOVE NOTES VALENTINE'S PLANNER SET UP | with Jomelle

Who remember making a mixtape? I remember it very well. When I first saw the "Love Notes" Collection, I was drawn to the cute little cassette tapes right away. It reminded me of my high school days. I grew up listening to the radio and trying to record the song that was playing in my cassette tape. You have to remember that I was in high school and recording songs in my cassette is a lot cheaper than buying an album.
I had so many emotions going through my mind while creating my Valentine's Planner Set Up. I was also reminiscing so many memories. I chose the 12x12 cardstock with the colorful mini hearts. I then added washi tapes on the top and bottom border.
I played around with the odds & ends since you have so many to choose from. I knew from the start that I wanted to use the cassette tapes doodle pops and the rest just came into place.
I folded the hearts to give it that 3D effect. I also added hearts and music notes sprinkles. There's no right or wrong way to decorate your front page, just have fun with it.
I stuffed my planner pockets with more odds & ends, playing with the pieces until I found the ones I want to use. I hope you can see the "our Song" is the main focal point, which goes very well with the theme I was aiming for.
Here is my "before the pen" weekly layout. I haven't decided if I want to use it for memory keeping or to write love letters to my husband every day for the month of February. I think love letters is very romantic and very sweet.
You can see that I placed more cassette tapes and music notes stickers throughout my layout.
I used the pink bubblegum teensy type stickers to add the days.
Thank you for stopping by. Stay tune to my next blog to find out what I have decided to use my weeks for the month of February.

CHRISTMAS MAGIC PLANNER PAGES | with Anabelle

I love the size of my Micro Planner! I created it with the adorable Christmas Magic collection. My previous blog post shows how I designed the cover and the inserts. Today, I'm sharing how I made it chunky! I love the feel of a full planner and this one definitely doesn't disappoint.

The beauty of creating my own Micro planner is that I can choose exactly what I want to have in it. The Christmas Magic collection has so many adorable elements that it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to use! But, I did and I love how it looks. I'll be carrying this one with me throughout December. My goal is to make it my Christmas/Gratitude notebook. I want to keep track of things I'll need for the holidays, but also journal a bit about the true reason for the season each day.

Here is a little fold out page with a picture of my son. Keeping his photo with me in my planner is only natural since he's the one I want to keep front and center during this holiday season. I started off my adding the gingerbread house die cut to the left of the page. Then, I cut a piece of patterned paper, folded it in half and punched the left hand sand. I added a tag and some washi along with a chit chat to the front.
The inside of the page holds the picture and and a little tag that I embellished.
The next page I added is a shaker page. I knew I wanted to have some sequins in my little planner and this was a fun way of doing it. I took a page protector and trimmed it to 3 by 5. I slide in the tag and sequins then added the strip of paper to the left side. I stitched down the paper and plastic to seal the pocket. Then, I punched the paper and added it to my little notebook. I love how cute that gingerbread man is!

I decided to use the cute number squares paper to decorate the pages of my planner. The ones from the 6 by 6 paper pad are the perfect size for these 3 by 4 pages. I decorated each page in a similar fashion.

Each page is trimmed with washi, has a stickers and the number square. I used the house washi on this page along with the the wreath and gift stickers.

I love how the candy cane striped washi looks on this page. I used two layered ornament stickers on the left page and like how that turned out!

This page has the Christmas tree washi and some more cute stickers. I used the Mini Icon ones on these pages as the size was just right!

The next insert page I added to my Micro Planner is a receipt pocket. This is the perfect place to hide my receipts! I used one of the cards from the Christmas Card pack. It was 4" tall so I trimmed it down to 3" wide. I added some Teensy Type stickers to the tab, stitched the one side shut and added the tag and stickers. The washi trim on the bottom made a perfect finishing touch.

My final insert is a pocket page that I designed. I love having pockets in my planner and this one turned out so cute. I cut a poece paper to 4 by 5.75 inches. I folded it almost in half, leaving the edge that I could hole punch. I opened it back up and trimmed the triangular piece off, creating a pocket. Then, I took the piece I cut and added it to the bottom, which made the second part of the pocket. I lightly tacked down the edges to hold it in place and stitched along the side and bottom. I added the die cuts and cute clip.

I added a tag into the top part of the pocket. I love having blank tags in my planner.  You never know when you are going to need one!
As you can see, my little Micro Planner is ready to go. I am so excited to use it for December and can't wait to fill it up with happy thoughts and memories.  Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek!

CANDY CARNIVAL PLANNER PAGES | with Anabelle

It's hard to believe that we are already into the month of October. Time certainly flies! But, changing up my monthly calendar is always fun. This month, I used Candy Carnival to decorate my school planner. This is the planner that stays at school with me. I love the Icon stickers for decorating my monthly. I also enjoy using the die cuts from the Odds and Ends packs, too. They are always so versatile and the size makes a great impression on the spread. Here's how it turned out. I started off by adding a strip of washi tape along the top. I used two of the border stickers and layered them on the side. I love creating borders on my calendars.

Here are some die cuts that I used. I love the star burst/ferris wheel looking design and used them to highlight the corners of my design. I pulled out the cute banner die cut and added it to the spread. I love banners and this one makes a great focal point on the page.

I also love adding puffy stickers to my calendar pages. They are all so cute! These little candies were the perfect addition. The nice part about adding them to the monthly spread is that you're not writing on the opposite side of the page that much so the added bumpiness doesn't affect it.

Here's a close up of the border stickers. Layering them makes for a great look. I added more Icon stickers. (Aren't the little Halloween kids precious?) I used small strips of washi tape to mark my days off. I also added some more die cuts on the lower right side where there was more room.
I also ended up making a fun book mark to mark my October page. It was quick and easy to do.  I chose some of my favorite die cuts and layered them on top of each other. I picked a couple of chit chats and added them to the design. Then, I laminated and cut it out.
Aren't they adorable??? This was such a fun project and will look great sitting on my monthly spread this October.
Hope you enjoyed this peek inside my October planner. Candy Carnival is definitely a new favorite! I'm sure you can see why!

AT THE ZOO PLANNER PAGES | with Jomelle

It's been a while since we have been to the zoo. My daughter Juliet and my son Jaden loves animals. Since my family has been super busy, I thought why not create my monthly layout with "At the zoo" theme.
I've used mostly the mini icon stickers since the size of the animals are perfect fit and I also used "this and that" stickers.
How cute is that Lion paper clip on the side of the page? You can also see the elephant paper clip in the photo above. Planner girls get so excited with any cute paper clips to decorate our pages.
My son Jaden turned 11 years old on June 9. It would've been a perfect time to visit the zoo but my oldest son Joshua is in Italy with his band from school. My family is not complete without him so we will plan to go later.
I used the bon bon teensy type alphas and number stickers for the month and the for the words "Jaden turn 11"
These are the washi tapes I used in my layout. The animals washi on top of the page are so adorable. I can create so many wonderful things with that washi, don't you agree?
I'm hoping my family will have time to visit the zoo in the near future. In the meantime, this layout makes me more excited about going. Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you next time.
