SCHOOL DAYS TEACHER POCKET LETTER | with Nathalie

We all know a special teacher who just started or is about to start a new school year so I thought of making a pocket letter with the new School Days collection to show my appreciation to one of them. Hopefully it will make them smile and encourage them during those first few days!

As always with my pocket letters, I treated each pocket like a separate mini project. My favorite might be the 4x6 title pocket where I paired die-cuts from the Chit Chat pack with a little student sticker. I also created a tiny Back to School banner (a wink to the project I shared two weeks ago) which makes it fun and festive:

Right below I filled a glassine bag with die-cuts from the Odds & Ends pack and wrapped it with twine. I love to add small little packages to unwrap in my pockets. I also created and decorated a slanted pocket to include a washi tape sampler with Back to school themed tapes of course!

I haven't used rub-ons in ages but found that the Expressions rub-ons "It's never too late..." phrase would make a great quote card. I broke it down into small pieces to fit into a 3x4 card (from the Color Me Happy paper).

I had so much fun with all the elements of the School Days collection! The students and the smiling icons are adorable. I❤️TRAVEL LAYOUT | with Caroli

I really love to travel, I try to do it as often as possible and I enjoy every minute of a trip. Said this, I ❤️Travel collection is simply perfect for documenting all these travel photos! I love the colors and all the travel concept of this collection.

Last year I had the luck of traveling abroad few times and of course I took a lot of photos, so I decided to use this one from the time I went to Montevideo, Uruguay.

I went for a really simple design, with a light patterned paper as bad and a blank space filled with embellishment. I love this kind of composition because although its filled with stuff it still looks clean and simple.

Of course I loved all the embellishments of this collection, so I used plenty of diecuts from the Odds & Ends and the Chit Chat packages. This time also used some stamps here and there too, just to add an extra detail to the composition.

I love the new product include in this collection, the Chit Chat Travel Tags! These tags are gorgeous and perfect to be used as journaling spot. I use one of them with this purpose, love the result.

Since the photo included the name of the city, somehow it was the title of the layout, so I decided to include the name of the country to finish the title idea. I used green Abigail aha for this.

I❤️TRAVEL - PILLOW BOX TRAVEL TREATS | with Karen

Each year at the end of summer, my two daughters take a final road trip with their dad out to a fair. I have to start back to work during the fair, so it's a road trip that the family takes without me. And while I love the alone time (shhhh....don't tell them), I also miss them dearly! So I usually pack a picnic lunch and a car full of treats for them to take on their adventure. The new "i ❤️travel" collection is the perfect set for me to add some crafty goodness to the travel treats! And with so many stamps in the "i ❤️travel" and "let's getaway" sets with coordinating dies, I could create little pillow boxes for each day of the trip!
And the best part is that these stamps have just enough detail that they don't take a huge amount of time to colour! Colour them up with some alcohol markers or pencil crayons to coordinate with the papers you choose and you are all done...
...except for the embellishments! I think a few cute mini paperclip and some great sprinkles will do the trick, don't you?

SCHOOL DAYS - 12 MONTH DAILY DOODLES CALENDAR | with Traci

I love calendar projects, so I decided to make one for a friend since she just started her first year of teaching. I made a 12x12 calendar page for each month of the school year, decorated them with fun pieces from School Days, and included a 12x12 ClipArt board for hanging the pages in the classroom. Although this makes a fun gift, it would also be a great project to keep track of school activities at home!

I added 2" strips of pattern paper across the top of each calendar, and strips from the "just write" pattern paper across the bottom of each page. I also added some odds & ends and white monthly daily doodle stickers at the top.

The mini icon stickers work perfectly for calendars because the smaller sizes fit into the calendar squares so nicely. That tiny little school bus is SO cute!

Little pattern squares from the 6x6 paper pad, star sprinkles, icon stickers and a few enamel dots all make these pages pop with Doodlebug color!

Finally, I had fun adding some doodle stamps here and there on each page. I love the little art easel ... it'll be a cute place to make notes for that day.

SCHOOL DAYS LAYOUT | with Caroli

First day of school is an important day in our family, I have documented that day for my little girl since she was on playgroup, so this School Days collection was perfect for some of the photos I have taken of her last years.

I created this simple layout featuring a big title cut file because I wanted to feature many patterned papers of the 6x6 pad, love the patterns in this collection! I created the title myself using Arial Black font and offset tool in Silhouette Cameo software.

I used foam dots to create a title with different levels, I love the effect! Also few Shape Sprinkles here and there to make it more fun and interesting.

I love Doodle Pops and I keep on trying to use them more on my layouts, in this one I created a fun cluster with Odds&Ends and few Doodle Pops, love how it came out.

I love how simple and colorful this layout is, and also that it documents a happy memory of my garland our family.

SCHOOL DAYS PAPER PADS | with Anabelle

School is starting and I am all set in my red Ladybug Daily Doodle. As a teacher, I love the School Days collection. Today, I am sharing how I made some paper pads to go along with my planner. They are great for tucking inside a pocket. They also make great Back to School teacher or student gifts. Best of all, they are really easy to make. Let me show you how.

To create the pads. I cut a piece of patterned paper to 3 by 8 inches. I folded them in half so my pads are 3 by 4. I cut some white paper slightly smaller and folded it, then tucked it inside. Next, I stitched along the top, about 1/4" from the top. If you don't have a sewing machine, you could staple the top and cover it with washi. Then, I decorated the covers.

I finished off by adding a strip of coordinating paper to create the pencil loop. I tucked the pencil in and adhered the strip to the back flap of the pad. If you are creating a pad to tuck in your pocket planner, you might skip this last step. Here's a look at each pad.

On this one, I backed the Schoool House Doodlepop with a doily. I added some border stickers along the bottom and added the die cuts to the top. Using foam adhesive on some of the elements really gives it some good texture!

I did something similar with this pad, but instead of using a doily, I added a sticker below the bus.

This cute easel from the Odds and Ends pack is one of my favorites. I added the crayon and speech bubble. I also added the colorful sprinkles along the bottom, as I did on each of the other pads. As you can see, the pads are the perfect accessory for Back to School note taking! Thanks for stopping by!

I ❤️TRAVEL STAMPED CARDS | with Kathy

The images in the I ❤️Travel and Let's Getaway stamps are so sweet!  I love the cameras, the little bus, the suitcases, all of them!  I created a couple of more clean and simple cards using both sets ... take a peek!

The little Insta-camera just made me smile.  You could use this image for so many reasons!  I backed this image with some of the Picture This paper from the 6x6 pad.

I think the little bus is my favorite image.  It reminds me of packing up the family car and heading out camping when I was little!  I combined this image with the Plaid to be Here paper.

SCHOOL DAYS - MICRO NOTE PADS | with Jomelle

I can't believe school already started for my boys. Where did summer go? My oldest Joshua started his Junior year in high school and my second son Jaden started his 6th grade.

As you may know, I am into the Micro Notes these days. I decided to create Micro Notes for each of my children. I can think of so many ways to use these Micro Notes during school year. I can journal, document moments and add photos.

I used the 6x6 paper pad for the covers and add embellishments. I used different color rings that matches the decor of each covers. It's really easy to make and so much fun. I created each one to match my kid's characters.

My 3 year old daughter Juliet is really excited to go to school. She missed the cut out for her to start kindergarten this year so she will start T-K next school year. I created this Micro for her all in pink rings. How adorable is the girl with the pony tails.

My oldest son Joshua does not like to take pictures anymore. I guess he feels he's "too cool" for photos. I still decided created a Micro Notes for him that I plan to use for a little journal or maybe even document his many of "Firsts" such as first crush, first date, first girlfriend and many more. I may not have a lot of pictures but I can add do more of journaling.

Last but not the least, the middle child Jaden. He is the "fun" one who is very adventurous. I know that I will be able to add so many pictures of him and his friends in this Micro Notes. I can document his band concerts and school plays.

BACK TO SCHOOL - SCHOOL BUS STATIONERY HOLDER | with Jennifer

Hello everyone. Don't you just love the new School Days collection? It's great for all those "Back to School" layouts and Teacher Appreciation gifts. 

For my project, I decided to make a school bus shaped pencil/pen holder that could be a gift for a teacher or bus driver. The holder itself is basically just a square box made from thick chipboard and foamboard with a bus on the front.

The holder is filled with a pack of sticky notes, mechanical pencils, and I added some fun die cuts too.

The black and yellow patterned papers from the collection worked perfectly for this project.

Four of the bus riders are stickers from the collection, but one of the boys and the bus driver were taken from other lines.

Lots of star-shaped sprinkles were used. I also used some round sprinkles and brads for the lights in the back and the front of the bus. Matte ModPodge was used to seal the piece.
