Little shamrocks and braids printable box

C.S Lewis quote about being grown up.

"When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."
-C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis was born in Belfast, Ireland. Since I've been putting quotes on some of my thumbnails, using Irish authors for the designs with shamrocks or knotwork seems appropriate. Plus I really love this quote. As usual, if you'd like to share it, you can find it on my Facebook page! Like Don't Eat the Paste on FB for the fastest way to find out about new posts, and to see occasional photographs that I take. Currently there is a picture of a moose with it's tongue stuck out on there that I took yesterday!

The printable gift box is inspired by Brigitte in Austria who seems to really like shamrock designs! I hope you enjoy it too. Click on the image for a larger version, print on card stock, cut out, score fold lines, fold, glue!

Irish Blessing coloring page

Irish Blessing
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
I hope you enjoy this coloring page, it's one of my favorite blessings. The knotted frame is 5 symmetrical strands if you want to color in each strand a different color. The font used is Cari Buziak's Aon Cari Celtic, and available on Aon-Celtic. Cari has also posted some of the best knotwork tutorials around if you'd like to learn to draw your own. Click on the images for larger versions. The colored version above is posted on my FB page if you'd like to share it.

Shamrock Tea Box and coloring page

The tea box is in 300 ppi, and the coloring page is in 100 ppi. For the first time, I also put the art in my Etsy shop as a digital stamp at the original 8x8 300 ppi size. So if you love my coloring pages and want to use them for your own digital creations but at a higher quality than I post the coloring pages at, digital stamps are perfect. I chose the 1.60 price point which is the same price as most of my blank box templates.
As usual, the coloring page can be used for all sorts of crafty purposes.

The fills for the box were taken from close up shots of ice sculptures that I took last month. These are the images at 25%. I just thought they were so neat looking! I mirrored sections then recolored them for the box. Click on the images for a larger view.

Coloring pages- Radar Love and a new knot

Two completely different coloring pages or embroidery patterns. One was inspired by the song Radar Love by Golden Earring (affiliate link), the other is inspired by Liberty. Because she really likes coloring pages and I wanted to do something she might enjoy. It's a woven set of triquetra knots. Click on the images for the full size 100 dpi versions.

Shamrock boxes

As promised, I colored in the shamrock to make a pretty little box. I hope you like it. It's at 300 ppi, click on the images for the full sized versions.

I changed up my layout just a bit. I created a shala shop tab. That tab has links to the fabrics that I have for sale in the Spoonflower market, my Kindle books on Amazon, and my Etsy shop. I put in a Zazzle bar in my side bar with some of the designs I've uploaded there. I also put a scan of my newest fabric for sale up there. It's a cute little rainbow alien design.

Irish Blessing Printable and a coloring page

When I was young, my mom had a little stained glass knick knack with the old Irish blessing on it.
"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."

I remember it, and how pretty the sun looked shining through it, but I don't recall exactly what it looked like other than it had a lot of orange and green and the blessing. I decided to turn the idea into greeting cards and coffee cups at Zazzle. I resized the art to make the printable poster above. (The original is 7x5 inches at 300ppi). After spending entirely too many hours drawing the frame part, I decided it would make a good coloring page as well.

Usual terms apply. Use it for crafting, woodburning, coloring, embroidery. Just please don't offer the image itself for download.  You can find a lot more braided designs on my coloring page.
Click on images for full sized versions.
