These are circle tags that can be cut out using a 1 inch circle punch and either glued to an item or you can punch a hole, I suggest 1/8 or 1/16 inch, in the side or top to put a string through the tag to tie it to something. Click on the image for a larger version. There is some bleed area so you can center the design in your punch.

Valentine FriendShip circle tags and coloring page
Trying to think of a good friendship design, I started thinking "Why not a ship?" The idea being that friendship is a journey, an exploration. At first I was thinking of a boat type ship, but I like space ships. So the rocket? That's my friendship.
So I put it on a 2 inch circle tag, then used a 1/8th hole punch to punch holes to hold little lollipops. Because friendship is sweet! You can use the circle tag for cupcake toppers or what you'd like.

Fun iron on patches
Recently I got some Avery brand printable fabric*. At 3 dollars a sheet, it's less expensive to do iron on transfers or iron fabric to freezer paper and print it that way for a lot of uses. What it IS good for isn't really one of the project ideas listed on the package.
Iron on patches. This stuff has iron on adhesive on the back, is fairly stiff, and can be punched with craft punches. You can make cool band patches, or peace symbols or other things. Save it for stuff you'll hand wash. I'm not sure how it will hold up in the washer.
This is actually what I'll use it for. My 62 year old dad would rather have me repair a small hole in a jacket than replace the jacket, but he's terribly picky about patches. He wants either patches that match the fabric, or he wants something cool. I was spending a couple dollars each on little skulls and such for his jackets when I found some that were the right size. With this, and a one inch circle punch, I can make a bunch of little circle patches that he'll like.
So to test it, I printed a sheet of well, fairly random things. Some of it is meant for other projects, but the sheet included a bunch of 1 inch and 2 inch circle designs like the one above. That's one of my compass rose designs .
Then I punched it using my handy dandy 2 inch circle punch, and ironed it on to my son's messenger bag. As you can see, it punched very cleanly and seems strongly adhered.
Anyway, all that to say.. here's the designs I used for some of the patches. I didn't format them to print on a full sheet, but you can get 12 2 inch circles from one 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper. Click on the images for the full sized 300 ppi PNG images. You don't have to use these for iron-ons, they can be used as stickers for scrapbooks or whatever crafty use you have in mind.

Paper punch pins
When I first envisioned this, I was working on an easy way for my daughter to make pins based for her fandoms that didn't involve me pulling out my button machine and trying to figure out where the cutter to go with it is. After testing the idea with a safety pin, a scrap of card stock from an empty cereal box and a piece of a crossword.. I got inspired to make a few using some of my other punches.
Any circle tag design would work as well. Including the name tags I posted a couple days ago.
Just print out the design, use a 2 inch circle punch to cut them out, and glue to a second 2 inch circle cut from card stock. Great use for using cereal boxes! Then tape a safety pin to the back. If you need to write on the front or color them, do that, then cover with Mod Podge. The crossword puzzle pin was made using this method and a 1 inch circle punch with a tiny size 0 safety pin.
For the punched pins, I got a little fancier. Using regular pin backs and gluing them in place with a strip of paper.
Cut two circles of decorative card stock, then punch your design on the color you choose for the top circle. For the apple design, I coated the bottom layer with glue then put on some red glitter. The leaf is cut from a separate piece of green card stock and covered with green glitter and glued into place. The top pink piece has the dots and the apple punched out to show the glitter coated card stock under it. Glue everything into place, put on the pin back, then cover with a couple coats of Mod Podge. The other 2 pins have punched appliqués. The blue and pink one has a second circle cut out of the pink with a 1 inch circle punch, then that has a heart and more dots punched. Put the whole thing together, cover with Mod Podge. The witch pin has the black top layer with a 1 inch circle punch to make the full moon, then I punched the witch from the black and put her in flying across the moon. I put a light sprinkle of silver glitter on the first coat of Mod Podge, then sealed over that when it was dry.
Super easy!!! Almost anything you'd do as a circle gift tag can also be done as a pin, or you could even make the pin the gift tag and write a note on the back and sign it then attach it to a gift.

Printable Name Tags
Working on a bunch of things at once. I really need to work on getting better organized.
These are some 2 inch circle name tags I made up. Later today I'll be posting a project that also uses 2 inch circles that you can use with these. Or you can just print them out, cut them out, put some re-positionable glue on the back and use them as is. I hope you like them.
You can download the 300 ppi PDF file here. It has a whole bunch of colors on one page.

Pi Day- Pie labels or gift tags
Pi Day is coming up, and today I drew some 2 inch circle tag pies that can be used to label jars of homemade filling or as small gift cards with pies you give as gifts. The example above is 5x7 inches at 100 ppi if you want to use it for a card or something. The tags themselves are 300 ppi in PDF format. You can download HERE.
The actual tags themselves have a circle of pie crust on the fruit pies so they can be written on and look like this.

Have a wonderful Pi day! We usually have pizza and pumpkin pie to celebrate.
