Publisher: C & T Publishing
Publication Date: 25 January 2018
RRP: £16.99

This book might be not some people might
like the look of but don't judge a book
by it's cover.

Yes Laura has an amazing use of colour that
might be too bright for some people
but really don't let this put you off.

I am following quite a lot of the designs but
putting them in more natural tones.

The big thing I have taken from this book
is the techniques Laura uses to create each
of her pictures.
Each design uses techniques to bring
together an amazing look and texture.
I also like how Laura uses different jewels etc
to create different affects.

Each project has very detailed pictures and
instructions so that you can complete each one.
Each project has Laura's unique that will inspire you.

Doodle Stitching
Embroidery & Beyond
by Aimee Ray
ISBN13: 9781454703631

Published By: Lark Crafts

In her first two Doodle Stitching books,
Aimee Ray proved that doodling isn't just for paper anymore!
Now she brings her variety of embroidery techniques
in a timeless resource for anyone with a needle and thread.

The book is appealing to all levels of stitches
including beginners.

All the stitches are explained in detail
and include pictures.
The idea of the book is that you can use all
the tools and skills to design
your own projects.

However the book gives you 22 projects
to use your skills on.

The projects are varied and quite a few if not all
would make fantastic gifts.

I love the way she uses colour and fabrics to add to each of the designs.
The instructions are clear and easy to understand.
You won't be afraid of stitching once you read this book.
It gives you the confidence to produce some beautiful projects.

I love this book and will be using it a lot in the future.
