As a newbie to quilting I love these books

The quilt is a traditional one that has been

As a new quilter I was excited by this pattern.
You aren't just getting a pattern when you purchase this,

contrast & scale.

Sherri uses her knowledge of quilting and brings this
to bring you a new pattern which is a dramatic twist
on a traditional block.

The book takes you through what you will need

You are then taken through the block & quilt assembly.

The later half of the book takes you through the fabric.
The information takes you through what you
need to think of when making your choices for
your quilt.
To helps you with all the details you'll need to know.
Everything from what colours you can look at
and what scales and contrasts to think of.

The useful holder of the book
and the format of the pattern and book
mean it's one you can keep safe and use time and again.

The quilt has a modern look with a fantastic
use of colour.
I'm lucking forward to using this pattern time and again.

Magic Tattoo's ~ Tobar ~ Product Review

Magic Tattoos
Tobar

For Girls & Boys

This product is a must have for everyone
this Christmas.

They are fantastic for stockings and everyone
will have hours of fun with them.

They are temporary tattoo's just like any other.
You place them on your skin, wet them and then
remove the backing.
Then the fun starts!

Download the free app to your phone,
view the tattoo from your mobile
and your tattoo comes alive.

Each pack has 24 tattoo's with eight different designs.
The girl's pack includes;
Dalmatian
Butterfly
Unicorn
Dragon
Fairy
Cat
Robot
Birds

The boy's pack includes;
Skull & Axe
Snake & Sword
Dinosaur Skull
Skulls
Sharks
Gorilla
Spider
Robot

As soon as the app has your tattoo on screen
the magic starts -
It looks like there is a 3D of the tattoo
on your skin.
It looks like they are moving around on you.
My niece has eczema so isn't able to put
them on her skin but she still gets to have fun with them.
We just cut them out but instead of
placing them on her skin we just put the
tattoo still on the backing on her leg.
It still worked and she still thought she
had butterflies flying on her leg.
It's funny because she tried looking under the
phone to see if she could see them underneath.

They are really amazing fun.
I've even worn some myself.
These are sure to be in our stockings every year!

Book Buddies ~ Pattern Review

Book Buddies
by Storybook Felts

As you know I love to craft.
Me and Little Red also love to read.
So when my friend Melissa asked if I would review
her new patterns for bookmarks I couldn't wait.

I wasn't disappointed.
You get all the instructions you'll need to make your bookmark
and you can use the patterns time and again to make
brilliant gifts for family and friends.

The patterns list all the materials you will need.
It gives you pictures to show you how to sew your bookmarks together.
It also explains how you can glue them instead.
This means whether you are a sewer or non sewer
you'll be able to make them.

We decided to glue ours so that Little Red could
help put them together.
It meant that he had just as much as fun
as I did making them.

The patterns are really easy to follow
and Melissa makes you feel comfortable
enough to make your own.

You don't have to pin your patterns
you can use a fabric pen
but I decided to pin mine.

We are thinking of making some more as Easter presents.
They are such fun to make and it helps
children to enjoy reading even more.

I really loved how easy and effective they were to make.
These are the first patterns in the series that
Melissa is making.
They are fantastic fun and I would highly recommend them.
They are fun to make as an adult or child.
Why not have some crafting fun and make some yourself.
