Good Morning

Good morning everyone,

Busy weekend this weekend!  We went to my sons school fair yesterday.

Just trying to keep up on my facebook group and see if we can get some more new members.  fingers crossed we get to 800 soon and then i can post the pattern for the mouse hat with bow.

I'm going to start making a bag for a friends child today, I'll post pictures and a link to the pattern once I've finished it.

I donated some of my crochet things to the school fair.  I don't know how well they did but I'm hoping they sold.  I am toying with the idea of making a load of hats etc and maybe doing a craft fair later on in the year.  At the moment I am concentrating on baby\child hats as they are quick and fun to make.  Think I'll make up a pattern for a rabbit hat next.

Anyway better try and get some more facebook group members.

Hope you have a good day.

Stole

Morning All,

Just finished my stole. I used chenille opal using the following pattern:
http://sallysbackyard.wordpress.com/2010/05/24/tradewinds/
I think it turned out really well!  Just got to decide what to make next.  Think it will be some housework first :-(

Chenille Headband

 http://www.crochetspot.com/free-crochet-pattern-lacey-headband/

I used this free pattern but I only did one repeat and finished on row
5.
I also went down to 3dc on the strap.
This one is adult size.

Baby Headband

Baby Headband.  I used the following site for the headband itself:
http://www.crazysockscrochet.blogspot.com/2010/01/free-crochet-pattern-headband-w-yarn.html
And I used the flower from a ravelry free download:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fast-and-fun-flower
I only completed to the end of step 3 and left out step 4.

Good Morning

Good morning everyone,

I'm hopefully going to have some headbands finished to show you today.  I started them yesterday but then got the shakes.  It's very hard to crochet when your hands are shaking :-)
I've used free patterns so I'll add the links as well.  Fingers crossed my hands hold out today.

My facebook group is going really well 757 members already.  I just can't believe it! I only started the group 21st April 2011.  It's a fantastic group because we have so many people all over the world joining together with crochet.

Cute 0-18 months Teddy Bear Baby Hat

I have managed to finish the baby teddy bear hat that I was making.  I made it slightly larger than the pattern using a size 5mm hook. I got the free pattern at: http://squishychocolate.blogspot.com/2009/08/little-bear-baby-hat-free-crochet.html

The pattern is really nice and easy to follow.

Dear All,

Sorry I haven't been blogging as much lately.  I set-up a group in facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_215401621819859&id=229048603788494&ref=notif&notif_t=group_activity
and it has really taken off.
I am currently trying out a bear baby hat so I'll update with you the pattern as soon as it's finished.

As you can see you keep repeating row 4 (3 times) and then row 2 (3 times) to create the basket weave I completed 42 rows and then finished.
Once you have finished you are left with a rectangle and you just need to sew up the side & bottom edge.
