DIY Halloween/Fall Soap Favors and Printables

These are so simple you'll want to make tons! They are fun for the kids too! So we've got a tutorial for ya! Be sure to grab the printables below too!

What you need ↓.

Clear Glycerin Soap ($10 Dollars for 2 lbs.(makes about 15 soaps) at Michael's - used 50% off coupon to get it for $5 yeah!)
Cupcake Pans ($1 each at Dollar Tree we got 2 - not sure if you want to use your baking one's or not. UPDATE - You do not want to use your baking pans because your food will taste like soap after that.
• Small Toys to fit in cupcake pan. (We got balls and bracelets at Target.) Caution - Small toys are a choking hazard. These are not intended for small children.
• Soap Scent if desired. This is optional. I like my soap to smell good!
• Med. to Large Microwave safe Measuring Cup
• Small spray bottle of alcohol. (not pictured)

1. Place small toys of your choice into each cupcake spot.

2. Cut soap into small cubes and put in microwave safe measuring cup. Melt in microwave according to the directions on the package.

3. Once fully melted add sent if desired per instructions on scent packaging.

4. Pour melted soap into cupcake pan right over the toys. One of the fun parts! Try to only pour soap if you have enough to fill the entire cup. If there is not enough to fill the cup but you still some left you can remelt it later when you add more.

5. Quickly spray a couple of times with the alcohol to pop the small bubbles.

6. Set aside and let cool. Try not to move them when they are setting up. They should look something like this at this point.

7. Next I like to place them in the freezer for a few minutes. This seems to make them pop out of the pan fairly easy. Do not leave them in the freezer too long or they will get condensation on them when you pull them out. It is okay if that happens it just takes a long time for them to dry.

8. Turn pan over and push on each cup on the back side to pop them out. They will then look something like the photo below. These have that condensation I was talking about. They are actually pretty clear when that dries.

And here they are again on the other side. Notice the toys are sticking out. That does not bother me at all but if it does you then you may want to select smaller toys. (Condensation again UGH! Dry already would ya!)

9. Once that condensation dried and they were ready to handle we wrapped them in plastic wrap and sealed them with a Halloween label! So cute!
Elements for labels from Just so Scrappy.

At my kid's school they actually do not celebrate Halloween so we used fall labels instead and will be gifting one to each classmate and Teacher of course! How fun! These would even be great for Christmas with Christmas toys! Maybe we will post some Christmas labels in the future! What do you think?

Below are the printable labels for you to use! Print them on full sheet label paper and punch with a circle punch to make labels or print on card stock and punch to make hang tags or cupcake toppers! You could also use a circle punch with a scalloped edge. So pretty!

Hope you enjoy them please let us know if you do!

For each printable below click on the image to enlarge, click it again to enlarge even more, right click and save to your computer. Then open and print.

And the fall labels! Enjoy!
