Maroon and Waves

Every Inchie Monday has Maroon this week. I am not into stamps at all. But, by coincidence, I got hold of this M stamp. I do, however, have quite a few stamp pads in various colours that I use for quilling. So I thought, why not marry the two for this inchie.

Can I just say right here - we are all passing the equator, the half way mark of the year. I won't even bother mentioning how quickly this goes. To us in Australia, it's Happy New Financial Year! Probably not for me, I won't be winning any tax write-offs. Still, Happy New Financial Year to everyone - may this be an auspicious one!

Weekly Challenge #173

I have a thing about Purk and Diva Dance. These are just ace tangles. Always like my Purk tear drop shaped; Diva Dance could only be round; and never, ever, ever colour. This week's Diva challenge is so inspirational, informative and educational, I had to have a go.

No points, coloured watercolour pencil shading and a different Diva Dance arrangement. Adored this exercise, but keep coming back to my conviction that every colour is beautiful, as long as it is black.
I think of cups of coffee when I look at this. I'm soooooooo exhausted because of work!

Maid & Sunshine

This week on EIM, the keyword is Maid. Here it is, couldn't think of anything else.

And on the Twinchies Challenge Blog this Tuesday the keyword is Sunshine. We have the expression "You'd think the sun shines out of his arse" For example, could be used to speak about one's boss:
"Everyone runs around her and takes everything she says so seriously. Gee, you'd think the sun shines out of her arse".

Lavender & Memories

Every Inchie Monday has Lavender for us this week. I have seen lawyers dress up in ties like this. You know, in the animal kingdom, it is mostly females that stand out in their physical attractiveness, except for lions, peacocks and lawyers.

On Twinchies Challenge it's Memories. Has anyone seen the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? This is what I came up with.

#170 Bugles & My Art Storage Box

Finally got some time to not only tangle, but take photos too. Bugles for The Diva's Weekly Challenge.

And here's my second art box. Let's consider it finished for now. The truth is, I got fed up with drawing on wood and wanted to come back to paper for a while. So it might as well be finished.
