Beaver Balloon Birthday Fun!

Good Morning and welcome to another fabulous and fun Saturday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing? We've got some fabulous ideas for you and can't wait to see what you create!

This week your hostess is Krafty Girl, Marieke and her challenge for you is... Something that moves!

Today I thought I'd mix a few stamp sets together - may favourite thing to do!

I used the wonderfully adorable "Up, Up and Away" for the little hot air balloon. Then instead of adding one of the little elephants from the stamp set, I decided to use one of the little beavers from the "You're Gnaw-some" set instead.

To create my background, I started by using "Summer Sunshine" and "Bubbly Blue" inks across my "So Many Circles Stencil". Then I inked across the entire background with both inks again.  I also add a tiny touch of "Lovely Lagoon" ink too.  Then I replaced the stencil and added some tiny star images from the "Party Time Sentiments" stamp set to the circles.  I had a bawl creating this card!!!!

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.  These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp however using Kraftin' Kimmie stamp and products will earn you double entries! A New Club Canvo is Coming!

Kraftin' Kimmie May Release Blog Hop

Today we are celebrating all the wonderful new things in our MAY Release that are NOW AVAILABLE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

All FOUR of our new stamp sets along with two new stencils, our stunning new hybrid ink colour, Summer Sunshine and sweet new krafty dots were released yesterday and we're excited to share everything with you in a fabulous blog hop!

I love looking at stamps and attempting to use the images in a different way.  As soon as I saw the balloon basket, I thought why not just use the basket aspect without the balloon!  Yup!  So I made my little elephants just hanging out in a tree!

So cute right?!?!?!

First up is an adorable set by artist Becky Pearce called UP, UP AND AWAY!

Next is a set a stunning floral creation from artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen called PERFECT PEONY!

Next up we have a set of homes for our adorable little pixies from last month! This amazing set is from artist Sabrina van Vloten and it's called FAIRY VILLAGE!

And our amazing fourth new stamp set... FARM-TASTIC!

Farm-tastic!

It's our FINAL day of May Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!  Are you READY?! Everything you've seen us share this week will be released this afternoon (Saturday) after our LIVE online party!

Fairy Village

We are continuing our new release countdown today!  Are you lovin' what you've seen so far? Because we've got MORE! It's Day THREE day of May Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

Today we've got a magical new stamp set for you! Remember the FAIRY FOLK set that we released last month? Well you didn't think we'd leave them with no place to live, did you? We've got a brilliant new set from artist Sabrina van Vloten.  It's called....FAIRY VILLAGE!

This set contains two gorgeous whimsical houses which can be used on their own as a focal image or in combination with our sweet Fairy Folk stamp set or many of our other fun sets!

Perfect Peony

Today we're sharing a stunning new stamp set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen! It's called....PERFECT PEONY!

This gorgeous floral design is perfect for any time of year but especially for spring! Imagine all the friendship, thinking of you, sending thoughts creations with this design! And what a wonderful sentiment!

I wanted to keep my card simple so I stamped the Perfect Peony image and then backed it with the glorious Summer Sunbeams Stencil using the Summer Sunshine ink.

Up, Up and Away!

The MAY Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps begins NOW! Welcome to Day ONE of our May Krafty Peeks!  We are ready to celebrate and inspire you with FOUR new stamp sets, TWO new stencils, a brand new INK colour and some new Krafty DOTS!

We're kicking off the krafty fun with an ADORABLE set from artist BECKY PEARCE and it's called...UP, UP and AWAY!

What a fabulous and uplifting set of sweet images and sentiments to send to special people to let them know you're thinking of them, especially right now! It's a 4x6 stamp set featuring several main images, some accessory stamps and some awesome sunshiny sentiments!

Who can resist a rainbow?  So I coloured up my balloon use a rainbow of Copics and masked it to use the Summer Sunbeams Stencil to create the background.

Let's Make Lemonade

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm here along with the members of the Power Poppy Power house team to share some fun colored creations!

I was looking through my stamps and came across the "Tea in the Garden" stamp set.  The sweet little cake and the lemonade certain spoke Spring to me.

I used my Copic Markers to apply the base colors and then I used Polychromos Pencils to add in all the finer details.

I'm Nuts About You!

Mer-May is Here!

Happy Mer-May!  It's time for a fun mermaid card.

I used the gorgeous "Welcome Little One" stamp set from Three Room Studio for my card today.  This is a one-layer card!  Yup!  The 2 small fish, the shark and the mermaid are all stamped images.  The rest of the card was created by me; even the map!

It took me approximately 6.5 hours of colouring to finish!  It was a total labour of love!

You've Got Mail!

Happy Saturday! Happy (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day!  Over at Kraftin' Kimmie's Facebook group, we're having a tiny little event during the weekend.  Come and join us for some fun!

This week's Saturday Challenge is all about multiple layers!

So for my card today I used the adorable "Snail Mail" stamp set along with the awesome "Krafty Scenery 2 Stencil" to create my card.

I stamped all of my images using Creamy Caramel ink and coloured them up with Copic Markers.  I used some coloured pencils to add in some of the finer details.  Then I used lots of fun inks and our scenery stencil to make my layered back drop; I used Bubbly Blue, Granite Grey, Mossy Meadow and Charming Chartreuse.  I used the fun mountains and the grassy edges of the stencil.

PLUS... my little mailman actually delivers the letter to the mailbox!!!!  How cute is that?!?!

I also used the new sketch for the month of May too...
