You know, I went to buy 4-D yesterday for my dad's boss. Don't ask me why on Earth did I do that, I was just following orders. I went down and saw that the queue was quite long then got a bit 'sianz'. I don't really like gambling although I do play 'mahjong' and all, especially when my dad is betting.. Wanted to turn back when suddenly I thought that if the ticket is going to win tonight, my dad's boss is going to kill him, and he is going to kill me subsequently.
I reached the counter reluctantly and sheepishly, finally.
Then the counter auntie asked, "First time ah? What's your age?"
Seriously for a moment I thought I looked old enough, then I stumbled upon the thought of my own age. Was I going to be 20 or 21 this year? After stoning a while, I asked her the reason for that question.
Auntie: "Orh, just asking."
Yeah, I know when Aloysius read this, he is going to laugh his ass off.
There was another time I went to buy cigarettes for my Staff Sergeant at 7-11. Aloysius freaked out, hence I have to make the purchase. I thought I should look like a seasoned smoker and tried to act like a pro. Haha.
Me: "Viceroy." (Trying to look cool)
7-11: "Red or Green?"
Me: "Green." (Again trying to look cool)
7-11: "Menthol or Menthol-light?"
Me: "............ Menthol...."
7-11: "First time ah?"
There goes the act man.
