Pumpkin Spice Cards with Vicki's 2 Sheet Wonder

Hi everyone!

Hope you are well.

I'm back today to show you another sampling of fun cards I created with my NEW Two Sheet Wonder instructions, this time using papers from the very recent Pumpkin Spice paper pack.

Here's a better look at the cards...

The sweater stamp I used on my cards is from an old retired set called Ugly Sweater.  But there currently is a CTMH set that you can still get called Pumpkin Spice - Scrapbooking which even comes with matching dies.

The sentiments I used are all from one great set called For All Occassions.  A perfect addition to anyone's stamp collection.

I personally love how these cards turned out.  I hope you like them too.  ;)

If you wish to purchase a copy of my Two Sheet Wonder instructions, you can find the info here.

I also created a matching card box to hold all of these cards, using my Large Card Box Tutorial.  (I am going to create a seperate post showing it, so please look for that.)

Happy creating!

Adorable Documented 6x6 One Sheet Wonder Cards

I took out my 6x6 One Sheet Wonder instructions yesterday and created a completely different set of cards by switching up the papers to Documented, and using a different stamp set.

These turned out so cute!

If you want to get a copy of my 6x6 One Sheet Wonder, it is only $3 CAD.
Cheaper than a cup of coffee.  :)

*For my fellow Consultants, this would be great tool for building a card buffet stash...  (wink, wink)

Happy creating!  :)

Chelsea Gardens 3x3 Boxed Cards Set

I love the new CTMH Chelsea Gardens!

I used one of the papers to create this pretty little 3x3 note card set with matching card box.

I know I will be using this one over and over again.

From The Heart Boxed Card Set

There was a special Close To My Heart promo last month that included a terrific stamp set, called From the Heart.

Over the past month, I have seen quite a few beautiful projects created with this stamp set.  Like this one from Chris Franco that really stood out to me, and which I ended up using as inspiration for my boxed card set.

The sentiment I used on the box is from one we received at Convention in 2016.

The birthday sentiment I used on the cards is from Birthday Sparkles.

Inks used on the above card:
Glacier, Lagoon, Flaxen, Fern, New England Ivy, Goldrush, Black

Inks used on the above card:
Bashful, Pomegranate, Flaxen, Fern, New England Ivy, Goldrush, Black

Inks used on the above card:
Thistle, Pansy, Flaxen, Fern, New England Ivy, Goldrush, Black

Inks used on the above card:
Tangerine, Goldrush, Flaxen, Fern, New England Ivy, Cranberry, Black

Wouldn't this make an amazing gift???  I know I would love to receive it.  lol

I seriously am in love, love, LOVE with these cards.  Chris did an amazing job on hers, and made re-creating them super easy.

On a side note, I used to sell my instructions on how to create this card box, but I lost all of my files when I dropped my laptop about 2.5 yrs ago.  :(

Happy creating!  :)

My Newest Card Box... A2 Tray-Style Card Boxed Set with Stella!

I created this adorable boxed set of cards yesterday, while Cole was home sick from school.

Note:  I will have this A2 Tray-Style Card Box tutorial ready in the near future.  Once I have it ready, I will let you all know, and you will be able to get it for free with a purchase of a handmade card

I made 2 cards with this sentiment "Age is just a number...", and the inside reads, "yours will remain unlisted."

And I made the other 2 cards with the sentiment, "With age comes widsom..." and the inside reads, "you're one of the wisest people I know!"

Love those funny sentiments from Just a Number.

I used the new Stella paper packet, and I cut all the shapes, except for the sentiment banner strips and the leaves on the front of the box, with my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

Do you have this cartridge yet???  If not, what are you waiting for?  ;)

Although you can't see it in the picture, the box does hold the A2 envelopes, too.

I'll be sure to post when the tutorial is ready.

Until next time, happy creating!  :)

Baby Cards Boxed Set

I'm still waiting on my shipment of new goodies from the new Idea Book (and my new Spring/Summer Idea Books, too).

So that means it's the perfect time to play with my stash!

My son took over the TV room to play on his Xbox this morning to play Halo.  I really don't enjoy watching or listening to that, so I went into my scraproom and dug out some of my favourite old retired papers, Twitterpated, a new stamp set from the current Idea Book that I hadn't yet inked up, Zoology, and a set that is going to retire at the end of January, called Sweet Baby.  A much more enjoyable way to spend my time!!!

This is what I created:  a super cute boxed set of baby cards, 2 suitable for a girl and 2 for a boy.

I'm thinking I should offer this as a class, but more customizable where my customers can pick any of my paper packs and stamps of their choice.  That way if they don't want to make baby cards, they can choose their own theme.  Sounds fun, right?  Of course they'd be stuck with all the cutting, but it seriously took me only about 2 hours (if that) to come up with this.

It would also be a great way for me to use up some of my ever-growing stash.  Anyways, I'm rambling....  ;)

The A2 Slant Top Card Box may look familiar.  It's one of my templates you can get as a bonus with the purchase of one of my cards.  You can see the cards and all the templates I currently have available HERE.

I better get going... got to put away the Christmas tree today.

Happy creating!  :)

Punches:  Corner rounder, 2 1/2" scallop circle (Marvy Uchida), 2" circle (Fiskars), Scallop border (SU)
Other:  3D foam tape, ScorTape (ScorPal), Velcro Dot (Velcro)

2 New Card Box Tutorials Are Now Available...

I always forget how much time it takes to get these tutorials ready, but the great news is that they are now done!

I get the question very often from people asking if they can purchase my templates, but as an Independent Consultant with Close To My Heart, it would be infringing on Policy to do so.  So as long as I am a Consultant, I cannot.

But what I can do is offer my templates as a bonus with the purchase of a handmade item - in this case, I create handmade cards specificially to sell to you.

You can read all the details and view the currently available cards HERE.

These are the 2 new templates available now:

A2 Slanted Top Card Box Set

Here's another A2 sized (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") card box, once again inspired by a square one done by the fabulous Sandi MacIver.  You can see the first box I made like this with a slanted top, but for 3x3 sized cards here

I made this A2 slanted top card box a while before Christmas, but I finally found some time today to make my cards, completing my set.  And again I would like to thank Sandi for her graciousness in allowing me to run with her idea of the slanted top box to create templates of my own.  She's a sweetheart!  Be sure to visit her inspiring blog and leave her some love!

Eventually I will have this box template available as a bonus with purchase of a handmade card.  I'll let you all know when it is ready (as well as when the 3x3 Slant Top Box template is ready, too).

If I don't get these templates completed before the middle of the month, it might be awhile before I can tackle them, as I will have to begin the huge task of priming and painting the interior of our new home.  So please be patient.  It will get done... ;)

I love the bright colours in this set!  They're just so cheery!  Actually, they are very familiar, too.  I just realized that I used these very colours in my last Humble Artists Swap cards...  ;)

Until next time...

Happy creating!  :)
