This week's smiles....week 391

It's been a week filled with smiles this week....

Thursday night we went to Theatre Severn to watch Sam taking part in Elf...it's so lovely to watch him grow in confidence with each performance...he was even dancing in this one :-)

Louie always makes us smile...here he is sat on the work surface in our kitchen staying 'safe' from Peggy puppy who gets very excited to see him and sometimes jumps up too much....who am I kidding?  She has to learn manners yet but she will get there.

We woke up to snow on Tuesday morning and Peggy was so funny when she saw her first snow...she did zoomies around the garden trying to catch all the snow she threw up.  In the right hand pic she was watching a pigeon up above her on the pergola.....every day there seems to be a new experience for her. :-)

On Friday Shell's school had a Pudsey day to raise money for Children in Need and Shell went dressed as Tom, the school cat.  The children loved it.

Saturday afternoon Shell and I went for a couple of hours fun at a painting session...it was my birthday treat from her and we loved it.  We had instruction to paint a highland cow [just in case you can't tell what I painted :-) ].  We both enjoyed a mocktail too while we painted....thanks Shell I really enjoyed the session.

Finally I have a few funnies to share with you.
...this one made me chuckle cos I'm sure we all have days like this.

I hope you all find something to make you smile and will then link up to your own smiles below.
Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 386

Here we are at catching up with the positives from the week...sometimes we have to look a little harder to find some but there is always something to make us smile.

This little man always makes us smile....he loves playing with the toy house and is a little super star at his foolball club...he loves it.

Lexi took part in the CYD Super Convention in Liverpool on Sunday....she is the smallest and one of the youngest in the group of dancers but she really held her own....some of the girls are much older than her.   It's so lovely seeing her going from strength to strength with her dancing...and really loving it.

Top right the girls are with their very proud dance teacher...she has taught them all from the start.

Of course there are also some funnies to make you smile...they certainly did me.
Hope you are all having a good week and have lots to smile about.
Hugs,
Annie x

This week's smiles....week 385

I'm sorry to say I've struggled to find smiles this week because our little Milly died very suddenly and totally unexpected on Saturday evening...I'm broken hearted.  She has left a huge hole in our lives sadly.

I think  someone has heard the news about Milly because he wouldn't have dared come into the garden if she was still alive....black humour but it did make us smile.

Louie makes us smile every day when he comes to play...he's growing up and changing every day.

We went to watch Sam perform in Frozen at Theatre Severn on Sunday...he was brilliant in every part he played.  We are so very proud of the young man he is becoming.

The only other things I have to share with you are the funnies I've found this week....I hope something here makes you smile.
Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 393

It's been another week of smiles for me and I hope for you too.

It was Lexi and Sam's 13th birthdays on the 20th and it was Gina's birthday too so we have had lots to celebrate. We all joined up for coffee and birthday cake on Friday evening before we left to go to the theatre.

Lexi is going from strength to strength with her dancing and she will now be performing in Liverpool, Birmingham and even at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool...we are so very proud of her.

I have watched Neighbours since it first started and as Toadie [Ryan Maloney] has now left and is touring England we decided to go to see him at Theatre Severn.  We enjoyed our evening although we didn't know what to expect....there was laughter, tears and plenty to think about.

We had a fun day with little Louie on Thursday.....give a child a box and they will happily play all day....it was a house, a tunnel and a slide to name but a few.....and the potty training is going well too.  :-) :-)

Louie is such a little character, as you can see here.  He's at a diddi dance group.  :-) :-)

I have lots of funnies to share this week so I'm sure you will find something to make you smile.  I hope you will leave me a little message before linking up to you own smiles below.
Have a great week.

This week's smiles.....week 392

It's been another busy week here at Sewing by Annie's.  I've tackled tricky sewing jobs and been kept busy sewing for a local charity....it keeps me smiling :-)

We look after Theo and Louie each Thursday and, after dropping Theo at school, we bring Louie to ours for the day.  He is growing up so fast and we how have new challenges....

...he's out of nappies now so it's a case of trying to catch everything in the potty :-)

He's doing very well but 'forgets' when he's busy so need little reminders....and a 'treat' when he does a wee in the potty :-) ....just look at the concentration on that little face :-)

Mark took the boys for a bike ride at the weekend [Theo had a new bike for his birthday]....sadly Mark had a flat tyre on his bike and had to walk home, pushing his bike with Louie on his shoulders.

They do look to be enjoying a boys day out together don't they?

Of course, I have found some funnies to share with you...I hope something here makes you smile.

Please link up at the bottom and share your smiles with us.  Have a great week.

This week's smiles....week 383

It's been another busy week here at Sewing by Annie's and I've lots to smile about....I hope you have too and I hope you will share your smiles by linking up below.

These are some of the photos taken at Lexi's latest dance competition.....aren't they amazing?

The girls appear to be flying in some of them.

We had a play day with Theo and Louie yesterday and as you can see we got lots of jigsaws out....he loves playing with all the toys we have here.

We have 6 weeks of school holidays now but have a weekend away with them at the seaside soon.....wahoo we can paddle and make sand castles :-) :-)

The twins bought me a packet of pansy seeds as part of my mother's day gift and they are now giving us so much pleasure by blooming in every pot....aren't they gorgeous?

Like lots of happy faces looking at me every morning....I love them.

Of course I have to finish with a few funnies.  I bet you can see why I don't have a parrot in my sewing room :-)

Hope you all have a great week.

This week's smiles.....week 379

I've kept myself busy this week with more sewing for the Harry Johnson Charity [ I hope to have more to share with you on Wednesday] when I've not been sewing for my customers and yesterday was a Nanny Annie day...

We had fun in the garden....everything from watching the little bees on the flowers to pinching strawberries ....there are so many ripening at the mo and Louie really loves fruit of all sorts especially strawberries.

So many special memories were made.

The garden is blooming in every corner and it never fails to make me smile.

Of course I had to find a few funnies to  make you smile....I hope at least some of them make you smile and you will leave me a little message before sharing your own smiles below.
Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 374

Here we are at another round up of the smiles from the week.

We enjoyed our fun day with the boys yesterday.....just look at the concentration on Louie's face as he's building his tall tower with the Duplo.....she's such a delight to look after.

I went around the garden to snap a few pics and it made me smile to see the first blooms on so many plants this week.....there are many more to come out yet of course and you will probably see them in due course.

The funnies this week didn't lend themselves to a collage so I've put them each on individually.....I hope you find something to make you smile.
As you know today is a difficult one for me as it's my Brother in law's funeral this afternoon....it will be a full house with very many in attendance because he was known and loved by many.....I'm just hoping all goes well.

Hugs,
Annie x

This week's smiles...week 366

Hello all.  We come here every Friday to catch up with the smiles we have had from the previous week and I hope you've had lots.

Lexi gives us lots to smile about at the mo...she entered dance competitions on line by recording her dances at home and sending the videos in.  I saw her videos and wow what a lovely little dancer she is now.  It's been so lovely watching her grow and develop.  Here she is holding all the awards she got....3 firsts, a second and a participant....so very proud of you Lexi.

I steamed all her dance dresses on Wednesday ready for a weekend of more dance competitions...and we are going to watch some of them too....more smiles :-)

We had Louie all day and Theo before and after school on Tuesday this week.  It's so special being able to spend quality time with them both.

They are here for tea on the days they come and both really love their food including lots of fruit and vegetables....they are a pleasure to cook for.  In fact little Louie [not yet 2] kept saying...Nanny this is delicious :-)

Our garden is filled with Spring flowers now and this week I can now includ the first of our tulips coming out....there's loads more to come out yet too :-)

Of course before I finish I have to include a few funnies...I hope they make you smile.

Please leave me a comment and then link up to your own smiles at the bottom.

Hugs,

Annie x
