Doodle Pantry Challenge #3

Good morning all!!  Today I have a card I made for the Doodle Pantry Challenge.  All you have to do is use any of Doodle Pantry's many cute images.  Plus, if you enter this challenge, there is a cute freebie set Laurie will send to you via email.  I chose to use the Christmas Birdie set.  I just love the birds that she has in the store.

So with this challenge, my sister Kris and I decided to do one of our "sister challenges".  We came up with a color challenge and here are the colors ...

The colors are red, pink, green and blue.  Any shades of those colors.  So I looked thru my stash of dp and found Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses".  It was perfect for this challenge.  The sketch I used is from this weeks Mojo Monday...

La La Land: Black & White plus RED!!

Hello everyone. Here is my card for the La La Land Weekly Challenge. The challenge this week is to use Black and White plus one color of your choice. So for my color, I chose red. The classic red, black and white, always so elegant and pretty together. I used the Sweet La La that I purchased a while ago from the store. I made up my own sketch and I also made the rose in the corner. Instead of putting a pearl in the center, I used a diamond. There are some red pearls in each corner and I used a ek success border punch.

One player will win a $10 credit towards any rubber stamp in the store and 3 of you will be awarded the TOP 3 badge to display on your blog. But in order to win or get top 3, you must use a La La Land stamp or digi.

I noticed that a lot of the DT's colored their image in grey tones. That's awsome, I on the other hand did not. I decided to go with the usual coloring with copics. Just added a touch of red here and there. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week. Happy Blogging*Ü*

D2D and a sketch challenge!!

Happy Monday!!  Today I have another card for the Designed 2 Delight progressive challenge.  My sister, Kristine, and I have been entering these for a few weeks now, and just love the freebies you get for entering. 

Kris and I decided to make this one a sister challenge, so we used the color challenge from scs CC270, mambo suede.  The colors we are to use is Melon Mambo, Soft Suede and neutrals of our choice.  The dessert option is to use wood grain/patterns on your card.  So I made this wood frame from this tutorial here. 

 The other part of our challenge was to each come up with a sketch without telling the other.  And you know what?  We used the same sketch.  It's this one here from Sweet Sketch Wednesday...
