Doodle Pantry Challenge #3

Good morning all!!  Today I have a card I made for the Doodle Pantry Challenge.  All you have to do is use any of Doodle Pantry's many cute images.  Plus, if you enter this challenge, there is a cute freebie set Laurie will send to you via email.  I chose to use the Christmas Birdie set.  I just love the birds that she has in the store.

So with this challenge, my sister Kris and I decided to do one of our "sister challenges".  We came up with a color challenge and here are the colors ...

The colors are red, pink, green and blue.  Any shades of those colors.  So I looked thru my stash of dp and found Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses".  It was perfect for this challenge.  The sketch I used is from this weeks Mojo Monday...

That's about all for now.  Thanks for stopping by and go check out Kris blog to see what she made using these colors.

For my card I used dp from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses and I also used SB nesties Labels Ten.  Thanks Kris.  I used the biggest nestie for my card base and then layered from there.  I love this shape of card, it's different from A2 or square.

Happy Sunday!!  I'm so happy you've stopped by.  We have a fun challenge for you over at Stampin Sisters In Christ Challenge blog.  Our dear DT Sister, Candace, is our hostess for this week.

Birthday Clown!

Good afternoon!  As many of you know my sister, Kristine, had a birthday last friday 12th.  I made a card for her birthday blog hop.  But this is the card I sent her in the mail.  I thought it would be nice to send one to her so she has something she hasn't seen yet.

For my card, I used a digi from klmdigistamps.com.  Kris loves clowns, so I thought she would appreciate this.  I used the basic grey paper pad 'sugar rush' (love that)  and added some ribbon and a flower.  Then I took my clear gelly roll pen and outlined the entire image to give it some pizzazz!!  Buttons and pearls finish it off.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!  Have a great week:)

The hostess for this challenge is the super talented Ceal.  She has chosen the scripture from 1 John 4:10 "This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins."

Ceal's challenge for us this week is... Valentines day make a card or project for someone you love letting them know how much God loves them.  Thanks Ceal for this awsome challenge.

SSCC #23 - 1 Peter 1:23

Happy Sunday!!  I know I've said it before, but my how the weeks just fly by. Before ya know, it's going to be spring....Yeah!  I'm ready for warmer weather.

It's time for another weekly challenge over at SSCC.   I really enjoy seeing all the creations you make and enter on the blog,  I get real inspired.  There is definately alot of talent out there.

Our hostess for this week is the talented Peggysue.  The scripture she has chosen is from 1 Peter 1:23, and it reads..."For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God."

Challenge:  For this challenge, since most seeds come up as tiny green shoots, use the color green somewhere in your creation, not all over green, just a touch somewhere.
Can't wait to see all the wonderful things you can do with this challenge.

Sponsor:  We are delighted to have Incy Wincy as our sponsor this week.  Thank you!!  If you have some time, you should go check out the incy shop,  it's full of fantastic things.

For my card, I used basic grey paper pack 'lemonade'  and the magnolia with tulips.  I added some heart shaped buttons and a few pearls to finish it.

Now head on over to the SSCC blog to see what the other DT's have created.  You just might be inspired to create something of your own.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Beanie Cap Card Holder

Good Evening!! Today I made a couple of beanie g.c. holders. My sister gave me the idea so I thought I would give it a try. It was a TLC challenge over at SCS. You can use the tutorial I used here.
As you can see, my first picture turned out a bit crooked. But I think it's a fantastic idea and so many different ways to decorated them. I hope you give it a try, they are very easy to make.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a super day!!
