Yes yay, I finally have a decent portfolio website that I worked across last semester for the web module. (hire me now pls!) Though I'm still working on the front page which doesn't quite feel right yet.
Surprisingly, the largest sub folder that occupies the most space in my com's the poster section in my NTUCO stuff that contains at least 20 versions of the concert poster. 4.89gb. I remember the crazy vetting emails sent through and fro making modifications to alignments, positions, colours, design etc. Here's to share some of the versions I did, (giving them some light before they get tucked away in my hard drive) :

Then I remember after reading through my AAH notes on China paintings, I came up with this. Too brown.
Above is the final outcome of all the suggestions and voting, which isn't really my favourite out of them all...
This was my favourite then, but looking at it now, I think there's something weird going at the left, that wind tail there. WR made the curving lines which I felt was a gentler touch than the blue brush. Oh well it's over now.
My butt has been stuck on this chair for at least half a day I think. Other than organising my stuffs, I did spend a good whole day yesterday with my sec sch kakis for a great as long as you want it K session at B's house! Feels great to be singing to my heart's content and learning new songs as well.
Mm, time for bed.

One of the first few posters I did and rejected.
I still like it, I can almost imagine the instrument motifs forming a patterned wallpaper now. I like the simplicity of it and it kind of feels like a visual representation of the orchestra, well to me. But sadly it was rejected, I remember a friend telling me maybe because it doesn't look like it's been put much effort. I did spend time cropping those images out especially the yangqin, those holes! Anyway in the end I used those graphics for the T-shirt instead. So those photos taken by Zeig were not wasted :)
