Color me Happy

Hallo zusammen,

Hi there,
here is Anja and today I want to show you a background painting with Twinklings.
Hier kommt erstmal die fertige Karte:

Here's the finished card:
Die neuen Digi Stempel gibt es ab dem 20.07.14 im Shop.

The new digital images will be available at 20.07.14 in the Shop.

And now to the Twinklings :)
You need a piece of watercolor paper, a watertank brush and Twinklings in blue and green.
A spray bottle with water is also needed.

The paper is first sprayed with water and then inked with the Twinklings.

Spray Water again and dry it with the heat gun.
Everything shines so great :)

The paper can now be embossed and the edges I have colored with Distress Ink.
Das war auch schon alles :)
Ich hoffe euch gefällt mein Beitrag. Vielen Dank für euren Besuch!!
Liebe Grüße,
Anja

That´s all :)
I hope you like my post. Thank you for your visit!
Love,
Anja

Mixed-media background – by Katharina Frei

Hi, Katharina here with a fun and easy mixed-media bachground idea – giving your neclected Twinkling H2Os good use ;) If you are looking for more ideas with templates – check out my latest craft video.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hallo, hier ist Katharina mit einer einfachen und schnellen mixed-media Hintergrundidee mit der ihr euren vernachläßigten Twinkling H2Os wieder etwas Beachtung zukommen lassen könnt ;) Wenn ihr nach weiteren Hintergrund-Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten sucht, dann schaut euch doch mein letztes Bastelvideo an.
Tags_mixedMediaBackground_KatharinaFrei3
I started off with 300g watercolor paper and cut my tags. I chose two Twinkling H2O colors (courageous rose & tahitian blue) and roughly colored the tags with a brush.
After drying the paper with a heat tool (also dry it from the back to get the paper flat again), I stamped over the color with the line stamp included in this stamp collection using black StazOn ink.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Afterwards I used a template on top ot the tags, coated it with white crackle paint and carefully removed the template again. Let it dry for 20 minutes to 1 hour (depends on how much color you applied).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Danach habe ich ein template über den Tags befestigt, mit weisser crackle paint eingestrichen und das template vorsichtig wieder entfernt. Das Ganze muss nun zwischen 30 Minuten und 1 Stunde trocknen, je nachdem wie viel Farbe ihr aufgetragen habt.
How I keep my Twinklings colors
Hi all Sonja here
Maybe it`s a little simple because I don`t have a beautiful  box ore something else to share with you all,but I wanted to show you how I keep my Twinklings together and even combine each other just by putting the colors next to each other ,and when I think O No this does n fit my desingpaper I just take another little pot because I can see it on my lids and therefor I don't have to waste any aquarelle paper every time;)
I do hope that maybe you find this handy and useful'.
The only thing that I do is,cut circles ( aquarelle paper ),color them from                                            dark to lighter than let it dry and after that I glue them on the lid of the Twinkling pot.
    If you rather  have a Color page you can download it on the Whiff of Joy Shop HERE is the link page 1
                                                                                                                            HERE is the link page 2
Thanks for visiting the World of Ideas Blog;)
Have a wonderful day.
Tutorial Altering Photoframe
Hi everyone here Sonja and today is my very first "sort of " Tutorial and a little Inspiration
I sure hope you like it ;)
I bought myself  an photo frame,I often do when I see something that I think "Yes this would look better when I Altered it. Down here I show you why.
This is the Frame that I bought.
The heart is of iron, I took it of with an screwdriver,so now it's ready to make and decorate
Simple huh ;)
First I took an white cardstock and punched around, I drew the heart and cut it out,solid glued it
and on top of it I chosen my design paper,again drew the heart and cut it out, glued it also.
After all this was done I put the heart bag again with the screws.
Now it`s finished to make a lovely story with some adorable stamps.
I used Honey Honey and Henry with large bow..so sweet and loving,don`t you think;)
Behind the glass I used Spring meadow
I used lots of dies for example the Cute Hearts
and a lot of  flowers.
The flower in the middle beneath ,the green one,I made myself
If there is no tutorial on how to make it, I show you that the next time over here!
I colored the sweet images with the Twinkling H2O, and I can tell you
I Love this way of painting.
Here you can see it standing for my window.
The photo`s above I made yesterday when the sun was shining,can you see the difference;)
I hope you like my little tutorial/inspiration,
Thanks for visiting my first one,and I hope to see you visit my blog sometime.
Have a Wonderful day
Sonja xx
