Hier ist
Kathrin mit einem Boxen-Tutorial für Euch. Und natürlich musste das Design im Oktober Halloween-isch ausfallen ;)
Einige Schritte mögen etwas verwirrend klingen, aber ich habe Euch meine Schema-Zeichnung mit hochgeladen. Damit dürfte es dann alles kein Problem mehr sein!

Kathrin today with another box tutorial for you. And of course my design had to be halloween-ish in october ;)
Some steps of the tutorial may sound a bit confusing but I also added my sketch and with this making your own box should be easy!
Alles was Ihr neben den üblichen Dingen wie Schere, Kleber, Lineal und Falzbein braucht, ist:
- 1 Stück Cardstock, 21 x 26 cm
- etwas Designpapier
- ein Geo-Dreieck
- einen Zirkel
und die Deko.
All you need beside the usual things like ruler, scissors, glue and a bone folder, is:
- a piece of cardstock, 21 x 26 cm
- some designer's paper
- a triangle ruler/geometry set square
- a compass
and some decoration.
Nehmt den Cardstock, legt die längere Seite an das Maßband Eures Falzbretts und falzt das Papier bei 10 cm, 12,5 cm, 22,5 cm und 25 cm.
Dreht das Papier dann um 90° und falzt bei 3 cm, 5,5 cm, 15,5 cm und 18 cm.
Take your piece of cardstock, put the longer side at the measuring edge of your scoring tool and fold the paper at 10 cm, 12,5 cm, 22,5 cm and 25 cm.
Then turn the cardstock 90° and fold at 3 cm, 5,5 cm, 15,5 cm and 18 cm.
Jetzt wird es etwas kniffelig - schaut Euch unbedingt vorher die Schemazeichnung an!
Now it's getting a bit tricky so make sure you have a look at the sketch first!
Dreht den Cardstock um, so dass nun die Innenseite oben liegt, der gefalzte 1cm-Streifen liegt rechts.
Markiert dann mit einem Bleistift die Mitte der beiden 10-cm-Quadrate, in der Zeichnung mit M markiert. Durch diese Mitte zeichnet Ihr jeweils eine vertikale Hilfslinie.
Messt nun an der Hilfslinie des linken Quadrates jeweils 4 cm nach oben und nach unten ab und macht Euch eine weitere Markierung, hier Punkt A. In diesen Punkt stecht Ihr nun mit dem Zirkel ein und zeichnet einen Halbkreis mit einem Radius von 6,5 cm nach oben. Stecht dann auch am zweiten Punk A ein und zeichnet einen weiteren Halbkreis nach unten.
Die Kreise enden nicht genau an der Ecke des Seitenteils, sondern 0,5 cm darüber. Das soll so sein.
Anschließend messt Ihr von der Mitte M des rechten Quadrats 8 cm nach oben und unten um Punkt B zu ermitteln. Auch dort stecht Ihr den Zirkel ein und zieht einen Halbkreis mit einem Radius von 5,5 cm diesmal in das Quadrat hinein. Wiederholt das auch mit dem zweiten Punkt B.
So, ich hoffe, das war verständlich! LOL
Turn your cardstock over so the inside is facing up, the scored 1 cm strip is on your right.
Take a pencil and mark the middle of both of the 10 cm squares, I added an M to this point on my sketch. Then draw vertikal lines through both of these points to get 2 guiding lines.
Now use our ruler to measure along the guiding line, starting at point M and marking point A 4 cm above center M. Also make another mark 4 cm underneat point M. Set the non-drawing-end of your compass to point A and draw a half circle with a radius of 6,5 cm at the upper end of your paper. Now repeat these steps from the lower point A.
Now measure 8 cm away from point M in the other square using your vertical guiding line. This is how you get point B. Use your compass to draw a half circle with a radius of 5,5 cm inwards the square. Repeat the same with the second point B 8 cm underneath the center M.
I really hope this wasn't too confusing! LOL
Nun benötigen wir noch die Laschen an den Seiten der Box. Auch hier kann die Schemazeichnung wieder weiterhelfen.
Dreht den Cardstock wieder so, dass die Außenseite oben liegt, diesmal ist der 1-cm-Streifen auf der linken Seite.
Orientiert Euch dann an der Zeichnung/dem Foto und zeichnet von den entsprechenden 4 Ecken der Box eine Linie im 45°-Winkel von der Ecke des 10-cm-Quadrats (das Quadrat, bei dem die Kreise inwärts gezeichnet wurden) Richtung außen. Diese Linie soll 1,5 cm lang sein.
Anschließend zeichnet etwas innerhalb der Außenlinien der Box je einen kleinen Strich von 0,5 cm und verbindet deren Endpunkte mit dem Ende der 1,5-cm-Linie. Die 45°-Linien werden dann noch gefalzt.
Now we need the flaps at the sides. Also with this step the sketch may be helpful.
Turn your cardstock over again so the outside is facing up. This time the 1 cm strip is on the left.
Be guided by the picutre above and draw a line of 45° from the 4 corners of the 10 cm square (the one that has the circles drawn inwards). This line needs to be 1,5 cm long.
Then draw little lines of 0,5 a little inwards the scoring lines and connect the ends with the 1,5 cm mark of the slanting lines. Thos slanting lines then get scored as well.
Okay, es ist fast geschafft - der Rest ist ein Kinderspiel!
Schneidet alles entlang der Außenlinien aus. Euer Cardstock sollte dann so wie auf dem Bild aussehen. Achtung: die Laschen werden nicht eingeschnitten!
Okay, you are nearly done - the rest is as easy as 1-2-3!
Cut along the outlines - your cardstock should now look like mine on the picture. Attention: the flaps don't get cut in!
Faltet dann alle Linien vor und verklebt die Klebelaschen mit dem anderen Ende der Box.
Fold all the scored lines and glue the glueing tabs to the other end of your box.
Überzieht dann alle Teile bis auf den Boden mit Designpapier. Die Box kann man auch prima mit doppelseitigem Cardstock fertigen - oder auch innen bekleben.
Then add designer's paper to all parts of the box. It can also be done with doublesided paper or you could add designer's paper to the inside as well.
Und jetzt: dekorieren!
And now: let's decorate!

3? Geister" verwendet, rund ausgestanzt und mit Doilies in weiß und schwarz hinterlegt. Dazu einen Text und einen Spinnencharm aus der
Halloween Box Of Charms.
I used one of the cute ghosts from "
3? Ghosts", punched it out in a circle and layered it with black and white doilieds. Then added a sentiment and a spider charm from the
Halloween Box Of Charms.
