picnic basket gift | pebbles inc.

You guys - I'm so sad that I didn't share these projects a long time ago. Even though the same products aren't available, the ideas are still fun, so I thought I'd share anyway!  This is a quick picnic basket gift project I shared on the Pebbles Inc. blog a long time ago - enjoy!  Summertime is the best time for picnics, but that doesn't mean you have to take a full day or even pack a full picnic basket.  Instead, make a mini picnic basket with paper, fill it with a quick treat, and deliver it to someone special!  I created a basket to fill with muffins for a quick morning drop-off to a sweet friend!  It was quick and easy and I love how it turned out - I hope she does too!

Here's a quick photo tutorial for making this project.  Start by downloading a digital cut file for the picnic basket.  Cut it out twice - once out of woodgrain paper, for the outside; and once out of this traditional red and white gingham print to line the inside.  The purpose of this is two-fold; to replicate an actual picnic basket AND to make it heavy-duty!

Be sure to cut the mirror image for the inside (liner) of the basket.  Next, glue the two layers together.

Now begin assembling the basket. Be sure to use extra strong adhesive to hold everything together! Picnic basket quick gift by @wendysuea with the "Simple Life" collection for @Pebblesinc.
Next, add the lid and handle with small brads.  Aren't those flaps perfect for the lid?!?

Finally, just to add a little finishing touch, layer a few die-cuts and tie them onto the handle of the basket.

To complete the project, add a treat (or two! These bakery muffins fit inside perfectly!). Picnic basket quick gift by @wendysuea with the "Simple Life" collection for @Pebblesinc.
Now deliver a sweet treat to a special friend or neighbor!

Quick Mother's Day Gift: 3D Flower Pots + Gift | Pebbles Inc.

With Mother's Day right around the corner, you might be looking for a quick Mother's Day gift to create.  I realized I have created a few projects in the past that I haven't shared here.  This is one of them:
Quick Mother's Day Gift by @WendySueA with the "Simple Life" collection by @PebblesInc.
Here's how the quick Mother's Day gift comes together: First, choose some pretty papers.  I chose to use some from the Pebbles "Simple Life" collection...I love that they have pretty designs, but in kind of non-traditional colors and patterns for Mother's Day. Using a Silhouette Cameo, cut the 3d flower pot pieces:

Next, assemble the pot using super sticky red tape: Quick Mother's Day Gift by @WendySueA with the "Simple Life" collection by @PebblesInc.  Choose some of the coordinating ephemera pieces, stickers, and wood veneer to embellish the front: Quick Mother's Day Gift by @WendySueA with the "Simple Life" collection by @PebblesInc.  Now just add a little gift inside the cute pot! The possibilities are endless -- anything that will fit inside the 3d pot will be a welcome treat. I thought these little succulents were too adorable! Quick Mother's Day Gift by @WendySueA with the "Simple Life" collection by @PebblesInc.
And candy is ALWAYS a good choice! Quick Mother's Day Gift by @WendySueA with the "Simple Life" collection by @PebblesInc. Quick Mother's Day Gift by @WendySueA with the "Simple Life" collection by @PebblesInc.

graduation hat gift boxes | pebbles inc.

It's Graduation season, which means it's the perfect time to make a cute, quick graduation gift. For today's project, I chose to use our high school colors to represent my favorite colors -- black and gold (yellow)!  And since I have a handful of grads I want to celebrate, I thought I'd share the super quick and easy gift idea I'm using this year!  I wanted to create something simple and quick that I could create in a few hours.  I landed on this cute cut file, and the rest was history!  Here's a peek:

I used a cut file from the Silhouette store (design #75119) to create these cute little graduation cap boxes.

It's fun to have a mix of patterns, especially if the gift boxes will all be displayed together. Now I can fill the boxes with treats, cash (every grad's fave) or a special note. Wouldn't these be fun favor boxes for a graduation party?  Or they could even be place cards for a graduation dinner!

So many fun possibilities, but today, I'm sticking to filling them up with these cute little cookies that are also sporting our school colors! Happy Crafting!

christmas gift trio | doodlebug design

**Edited to Add: You Guys - I just checked and this collection is on SALE right now!!  Click HERE to get a better look and to purchase!

Hi there friends!  Today I want to share a set of cute Christmas packages I whipped up with the fabulous new "Milk & Cookies" collection by Doodlebug Design!  I'm always in need of cute little boxes and bags for small gifts and gift cards and treats, so I was excited to get a jump start on my stash this year!  Here's a look at the set:

I'd love to share the details with you! Let's start with the Chimney/Santa gift box:

I think these two papers might be my favorite in the whole collection - I mean, come on, a Chimney with Santa on top?!? cuuuute!

I added foam adhesive behind the sticker, then embellished with chunky twine, a big Santa from the ephemera pack, and three sparkly glitter sprinkles!

Next up is the Tree print gift bag:

I used a Silhouette cut file for this sweet little gift bag.  Again, I tied with chunky twine and added a sticker to the front with foam adhesive for dimension.

Isn't that little tree so sweet?  It looks like it took a lot of work, but guess what?!? It's a doodle-pop and ALL the work was done for me!  Those cute little ornaments, the layering, all of it!  All I had to do was peel and stick! ;)

Finally, here's the cutest little milk carton gift box ever!

Again, I cut the box with my Silhouette, tied it with chunky twine, and added a sticker to the front with foam adhesive squares.

As far as embellishment, I had to add the milk and cookies from the ephemera pack, of course!

Oh, and did you happen to notice that little banner in the background?  It's simply triangles cut from the 6x6 paper pad with holes punched in the corners and connected with doodle twine!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today - I hope you're inspired to create some cute gift packaging with the "Milk & Cookies" collection!
