Well done ladies, your projects were outstanding!! Please help yourself to a badge for your blogs if you'd like one :-)

Now back to business and as always our DT have created some awesome artwork, if you have time, grab a cuppa and check out their blogs for all the details
Alysha - Happy Sunday! Its time to get your Pan Pastels out and make something for our fortnightly challenge. This project I made by creating the background using various colours of Pan Pastels through a floral mask, I then added some flowers, a butterfly and a sentiment from Polkadoodles Lavender Tea Collection CD.  Looking forward to seeing your creations this fortnight, hugs Aly xx

Tracy Scott - Hey there creative lovelies!! What creative goodness have you been up to this week??
I've been playing with paper napkins, index cards and of course my delicious PanPastels!!

The napkins that I used were black and white and once I had adhered to my card with gel medium and dried I started to colour using watersoluble crayons. Once these were dry I had to add my gorgeous PanPastels over the top to highlight and bring the colours to life !!

Finishing off with some sparkly glitter they look like a real work of art. Thanks for stopping by, why not give it a go and create your own beautiful blooms !! Xx

Terry I had fun making a baby card, you cannot have enough of them in the craftroom eh? I worked on the background with Purple Panpastels, layer on top is made with Light Modelling Paste and Crackle made with a few stencils. I also used some Pearlescent and White Coarse.

The heartshaped die is colored with even darker Purple Panpastel and sealed with Glossy Accents.
I colored the borders with Distress ink and with Metallic PanPastels. Last but not least I placed a sentiment.

Some of the products that I have worked with are:

Claire C I've used some of my all time favourite colour PanPastels to make this project, you can find links to them below the pics and more details on my blog

I've used one of my favourite techniques for the background, once I'd stencilled the leaves, I reapplied the stencil and them added Maimeri Glassy Gel Medium before removing the stencil and sprinkling over tiny microbeads

Lou Sims: I used my white pearl medium to create a wonderful pearlescent finish to my paper pieced houses. I also used it on top of the white gesso which helped prepare the MDF key shape. This created a shimmery background.

I used turquoise pan pastel to cover my stampbord pieces before creating my house scene. I then punched a hole and made a keyrinf.

n but Top 3 honours go to

Congratulations ladies, we were blown away by your beautiful projects!

As usual our DT have been busy this week, let's check out what they've been up to. We're also welcoming a very talented new teamie this week, give the lovely Katie a very warm welcome and if you have a min, pop over to her blog and check out her gorgeous artwork!

Nikky...Be gone, printed colouring books, you are a one-hit wonder! This is my favourite image from Florabunda, and I part coloured this with my adorable PanPastels of course!  I sent this image off to a Professional printer online and for a mere £12 (about $18?) I had this printed super huge at A2 Poster size which is 23.4 x 16.5" big - MASSIVE!
The Sofftt tools are truly amazing and you really MUST use them with your pastels - nothing else lays down the pigment in the same way - this looks really accomplished in the colouring but really all I did was sweep the colours on with the sponges and it kinda just happened on it's own! See more about this on my blog...

I have a journal page to share using Pan Pastels to create a background.
I used Phthalo Green and Turquoise on the background i then used a couple of stencil masks with Phthalo Blue to create the pattern.

I coloured the fairy in using a mixture of markers and Phthalo Green pastels. i sealed everything in using a gel medium. I used an alphabet stamp set to create the wording.

Lou: I decided to alter a frame I have had kicking around for ages. I covered the back piece with paper and then began building up the sides.

Next using raw umber and yellow ochre pan pastels, plus a little touch of yellow green, I covered the card sides. I set this with a mixture of water and gel medium. When dry, I used a stencil and irridescent paste to go over my base layer; which adds a real tectural feel to the frame. Once this was dry, I used fine white pearl on the top to add extra irridesence.

All my elements were also coloured with pan pastels in complimentary shades.

As always our DT have been creating some mixed media magic, let's check out what they've been up to this week:

Tracy Evans - I opted for a masculine card this week using my favourite PanPastels....The Metallics!

Yvonne - A moth theme this week!  More details over on my blog.

Tracy Scott - Sometimes you just need to play, I love my acrylic paints and use them a lot on art journal pages but always find that adding my PanPastels over the top enhances the colours and adds a real sense of depth !!

Claire C I've had lots of messy fun creating this MDF buttefly, you can find all the details on my blog

Terry, I have made a heartsy wallhanger, I played with White Paint for the first layer, after that I worked with the Red Iron PanPastel, another layer of Light Modelling Paste with the stencil of Dutch Doobadoo the small roses allmost finished the background. On top I played with crackle and the Gell Medium. The hearts on the inside of the wallhanger are made out of an empty Card Board Hearts Art. Made the hearts with the Light Modelling Paste and they are colored with Panpastels and finished with Gell Medium. I love the texture that came out of it by heating it with the heattool.

These are the products that I have worked with.....

Lou: I decided to alter a paper mache suitcase using papers and of course my pan pastels.
