I am so pleased with this mirror! White painted round mirror from Ebay, various natural finer fabric including part of a shower lilly found marked down in Sainsburys. That provided 3 pieces of fabric only used 1 here. Ceramic mask from Powertex UK and lots of scrap jewellery, another Ebay purchase from years back. I do not believe in the rule of if you have not used it in a year chuck it out that box of scrap jeweller has been with me through two house moves now. All fabric and embellishments added with Powertex, I really enjoy using this fabric harder especially the Ivory. Final touches dry brushing in gold and turquoise.
Please ignore the pink wall that has to be stripped and will be painted a cool Eau d'nil or similar hopefully in the near future. I don't hate pink but do not like it especially covering walls.
Things are taking shape and over the last couple of months the house has really started to become mine. Solar panels, hybrid air heat pump, replacement windows, shower room makeover, and at the end of September the whole of the front garden will be gravelled over leaving me with the manageable back to sort out and try green fingered things in.
Today I'm sharing my shabby chic mirror with:
Pixie's Snippets - Always anything goes, there are all sorts of snippets both fabric and jeweller round this mirror Di.
Love to Create - Always anything mixed media. OK so no colouring or stamping here but with materials it is very mixed.
