Exotic

 Hi Everyone,

For today's project I have made a postcard!

And here's how I made it:

First I dunked the card in to Distress Oxide inks that I smooshed on my craft sheet. I did add some water too.

Next I stamped the background and inked the edges of the card.

I then stamped the focal image on the card because the one I stamped to colour, I cannot cut out perfectly so I just glue it over the top of this one. Looks perfect !

Here I have glued the coloured and cut out image over the top of the one on the card.

I have used the following stamps:

I also used:
Distress Oxide Inks
Copic Markers
Clippings sticker
Washi tape

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

Easy Easter Card

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today, I want to share a super cute and easy Easter card.
(which could easily be adapted for any occasion)

Stamps Used:
Wind-up Bunny
Waybill/Invoice

Other Items:
A2 Card Base- Black, slightly smaller white card stock for card front
Dylusions Paint- cut grass, fresh lime
Tim Holtz products- layering stencil, distress oxide ink (broken china), Chitchat stickers
Memento ink- Tuxedo Black
Brayer
Lace washi tape
various markers

Let's Play
I started by brayering a piece of card stock with my 2 dylusions paints (all colors/products listed above), once dry I used one of my layering stencils to add some background depth.  (I used the same ink to lightly edge my card for a more blended effect).

Next, I stamped the waybill/invoice stamp to add additional depth and visual interest.  Setting that aside, I stamped my little wind-up bunny on a separate piece of card stock.  I used various markers to color in the cute little details in my bunny, then cut her out (yep, I said her... because, why not).

Next I began by using my Miracle tape to add my card front to my A2 card base.
I used wet glue to add my bunny, and my Tim Holtz chit chat sticker. (Of course the washi tape was plenty sticky and didn't need anything).

Well crafty friends, as you can see this is super fun and easy!
I hope you use this as inspiration for some cards of your own. :)

Thank you for visiting
and
Happy Easter
(A bit early)

100% NL

Hi, Hermine here. This time I made a layout to show my roots :o)

I started by taking a piece of grey board (the size of a scrapbook sheet) and gave it a white wash with gesso. With Stazon Black I stamped Windmill Scene (19124) and the film Strip (18921) with Distress ink Old Paper

then I cut out the alarmclock with an alteration die and put some non permanent tape at the back to hold the parts together. Stamped the Windmill on the front (forgot to take a photo).

Put the inner piece aside and sponge the outer side with Distress ink Old Paper. Then give it a coat of Versmark using the ink pad direct to paper and emboss with Ultra High Gloss Clear.

Place temporary over the image on the background to see if it looks oke.

Use versamark and Ultra High Gloss Clear for the clock hands.

Take a piece of twistel and cut into smaller parts. One large one and 6 smaller ones. Opebn the twistel on parts of the string so they look like leaves. On 2 ends I used a little cotton ball.

Here nothing is glued on yet, but this way you can figure out what layout you want and if you need to add more.

Here are some details of the things I wanted to add to the layout. I used white washi tape and stamped Washi Grid Background (19074) on with Stazon. Did the same with the Washi Lines Background (19073) with M'xed Media Inx. I found these tiny little wooden shoes, gave them a white wash with gesso, sponged a little with Adirondack Mushroom and stamped on them with Adirondack Mushroom using the Swirl (17401). I cut out two butterflies with an alteration die and stamped the Swirl (17401) with Distress Old Paper. Stamped the Girls with Umbrella facing away (19127) wiht Stazon and sponge with Distress ink Old Paper. Then put Versamark on the umbrella abnd embossed with Ultra High Gloss Clear.
Now you can glue all parts on the layout. See photo 1 for the finished result.

Used stamps:
Windmill Scene 19124 also on plate 923
Film Strip 18921
Washi Grid Background 19074 also on plate 917
Girl with Umbrella facing away 19127 also on plate 923
Swirl 17401 also on plate 1333
Washi Lines Background 19073 also on plate 917

Wieners Full of Love

Hello, hello, hello!

Aimee here, with  a cute little Valentine's day card to share.

I would bet that by now, you know how I love
my Dachshunds...Wiener jokes abound at my house.

Well, when I saw the "bark if you love somebody"
stamp, I had to have it to use with my wieners!!

So, do ya wanna make it?

Alllllrighty, then!!!
Here's what you need:
a folded card
cardstock to mat with
watercolor paper
watercolor paint
paint brush & water
paper towel
heat gun
any clear Stickles
scissors
colored pencils, markers, whatever you want to color with
pop dots or foam tape
corner rounder
paper trimmer
ribbon, trim, etc
Miracle Tape
permenant ink - I used Ranger's Archival ink

Of course, you can create this card
with any colors, but I'm a pink girl,
so of course I made a Valentine card in pink!

Slap some pink watercolor paint onto some watercolor paper.
Dry with the heat gun about half way, then flip the
paper over onto your work surface and pick up the spots of paint.
Dry the rest of the way with the heat gun.

Paint your hearts stamp with the same watercolor paint.
Stamp repeatedly on the watercolor paper.
When I did this, I stamped once, blotted with the paper towel,
dried with the heat gun, and repeated a few times.

Pretty, isn't it?
Stamp hearts again with permenant ink.
Trim to fit your matted card front.
Use corner rounder on upper left corner and lower right corner.
Wrap ribbon around this panel, securing with Miracle Tape on the back.
Wrap some baker's twine or other trim around a few times, knot, and trim if needed.
Attach to the card front with pop dots/foam tape.

Outline some of the hearts with Stickles.

Stamp Dachshund on white card stock with permenant ink.
Color and trim. Place on card front.
Stamp sentiment with the same ink, trim, mat, and place on card front
with foam tape or pop dots.

I have something else I want to show you...
Here's an art journal page I did this week, using one of the
