Enchanted

I think like everyone, I am ready for spring. I am ready for the gorgeous flowers that smile at me everyday.

I am one of those goddess women who believe in fairies and sparkles and smiles.

So when i came across this most awesome stamp I went literally all warm and fuzzy.

Yummy eh?

I created a couple of pretty cards.
My favorite this one.

And its super simple to make. The butterfly is an outline sticker. Place the outline sticker on a piece of watercolour paper.
Get out your favorite watercolours; twinkling H20's, Peerless Watercolour, Pencils etc.
Choose your favorite colours, using a brush wet the paper, and then start adding the colours, they will mix and blend together. Let it dry and then i used Prisma pencils to accent the butterfly.
Then i stamped "Enchanted"with a black dye ink, on a small piece of watercolour paper, and painted it to compliment the larger area.
Attach to a card and you have a lovely card.
Take care my art friends

Get Weird...it's OK!

Hey there VLVS fans!

Pinky here today with a message to everyone...."Get Weird...it's OK".
I am kidding but you know in this day and age we all need a break from the stress and what better way than to make your friend a totally beautiful, but completely off the wall weird card?!

You know just because they are weird doesn't mean they cannot be beautiful.
I have a wonderful family and 3 boys, I am the minivan mom and avid baker and all that, but I have a full head of PINK hair too...it's fun to be a little crazy in life, it keep you happy.

This is why I am totally making these cards for all my friends.
It's fun to use girly fun colors for the card (you know just to throw them off a little!).
This VLVS stamp was perfect!
Oh and the Miracle Tape is PERFECT for ribbon! Love this tacky wonder.

Why not get a little crazy today, have some fun and make somebody you love smile!
Until next time!

Birthday SASS!

Hi there VLVS friends!!

Pinky here for my first official
Viva Las Vegastamps post and I am so very excited!

I went for a card this time just to get my toes wet and
to check out the incredible stamps I found-
can I just say I LOVE THEM?
I really do! Brash, Sassy, and FUN!

Since it is my birthday this month I decided to create a
birthday card that  says exactly how I feel this year....
and the Older I Get 1X2 stamp was perfect.
Because I wanted a more faded vintage style for this card I pressed
black ink onto the stamps, then I spotted grey ink over it.
It leaves a more vintage ad style impression.
Instructions:
  1. Trim out 9X6 card stock for base.
  2. Use bone folder to crease middle (fold for card base).
  3. Trim 4.5X6 patterned paper for card front.
  4. Trim out 4X5.5 to layer.
  5. Layer card front using Miracle Tape 1/2".
  6. Using die cut or die cut machine- trim out 2X3" scalloped oval and slightly smaller straight edge oval (Cream card stock).
  7. Using VLVS Housewife in Kitchen 1 3/4X3 stamp pat stamp using black in, then layer on gray ink. Stamp image onto 2X3 straight edge circle. Repeat using VLVS Older I Get 1X2 Stamp onto scrap Cream card stock.
  8. Trim out VLVS Older I Get 1X2 Stamp image -1.5X3.
  9. Layer stamped images and embellishments as shown in photo.
And this I will proudly display all month long!

Until the next project, I hope you check out the fun and sassy products
Viva Las Vegastamps!
