Masked Beauties

Isn't this the best theme for an atc swap?
Kimberly at
is our hostess.
I wasn't able to capture all the detail...
liquid pearl accents, black glitter tulle
but she really is a Halloween beauty.

In honor of Kimberly's swap
here are some masked images for you to enjoy...

ATC's and Twinchies and Freebies, Oh My!

Happy
I'm participating in three (so far!)
Halloween atc swaps this season.
I'll share what I've come up with so far.
This very vintage and beautiful witch
has her dance card in hand,
ready for the Halloween ball.
I adore the vintage German calendar background.
I have a wonderful set of these calendars
that I purchased from Valerie at
 Isn't she a sweetie?
I'm sorry but in my book, wings and pointy hats never go out of style.
I wish this one photographed better.
It really has a lot of pretty detail that I wasn't
able to capture.
(Opening the pictures by clicking on them does help though.)

I'm not hosting an atc swap this Halloween
but we are doing twinchies over in my

I can't end a hump day post
without leaving
a few image freebies for you.

Until next time....

Thanks for the Great (Broom) Ride!

Well my dear Halloweenphile friends,
another magical season is nearing an end
but not without
thanks to the many talented bloggers and swappers
who made it so much fun!

My feather tree
is decked out with handmade
ornaments and tags
of Halloweens' past and present.
I love each and every one you were kind
enough to share with me.
That fabulous coffin to the left of the tree
was made by
for a swap in the
Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group.

Also received in MAMA swaps this year
is the
beautiful bat winged young witch spoolie
made for me by sweet
&
the amazingly detailed tin
created by
my talented friend

No Halloween would be complete
without an altered matchbox swap and
is a partner who never fails to delight.
Aren't the box and
Halloween tophat divine?

And of course huge Halloween hugs
to the many bloggers who
hosted
parties, challenges and swaps.
 Links to their blogs
can be found at the top of my sidebar...
it's not too late to visit!

Our Queen of Halloween this year?

7 More Days.....

I must admit to feeling a little sad when it gets this close.
Creating for the Halloween season
is just so much fun!
It's difficult to pack it all away for another year.

I hosted our 3rd annual
 Halloween Matchbox Swap
in my flickr group
and as usual am blown away
by the talented members.
If you want to partake in some
really creative and diverse
Halloween eye candy,
you can visit

This is the box I altered for my partner...
and these are a few of the goodies I sent along with it.

We did an altered Altoids tin swap in the
Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group.
My contribution is this witchy winged Marie
riding in her Halloween coach.
I really do need to invest in a new camera
(or possibly photography lessons!)
as I'm always somewhat disappointed with the detail
I'm not capturing in these pieces.

Here are a couple of vintage postcards to
add to your Halloween image
collections.

In closing this post
I must give kudos to the
Mistress of Halloween,
for hosting
You've inspired us all
to embrace the season!

Lovin' Those Pumpkinheads!

I don't know what it is about them but I've always been
attracted to images of people with pumpkinheads....
one of my all-time favorite Halloween themes.
So for the
Trio of Tombstones Swap
in the
Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group
I went a bit off the beaten path with these non-Marie,
non-French tombstones.
The tombstones are completely covered in mica flakes
and embellished with glittered webs and spiders.
I then created my own little
pumpkin headed bat girls
with their RIP pumpkins.

If you'd like to see what other
Halloweenphile bloggers are doing
to celebrate the season,
check out the top of my sidebar
for links to Halloween events.
My friend Kim
is hosting an especially interesting
and very creepy-cool
Halloween doll challenge
at

This is a doll I won in Kim's giveaway
last Halloween.
And her amazing dolls have only gotten
creepier and cooler since!

The freebie images I have for you this week
are honoring, what else?
Pumpkinheads!!!

And my VERY favorite......

Thanks to Marfi at
for another wonderful
Haunted Humpday!

Pretty Little Witches

Happy Haunted Humpday!
My friend Kimberly hosts the best swaps at
and who can resist the theme
pretty little witches?
Well I certainly couldn't!

We're swapping atc's and
this sweet little witch was my first...
After playing with several images
I decided I liked this particular little witch
so much...
that I created a coven!

That adorable kitty image
is from one of my all-time fav
Halloween collage sheets from one
of my all-time fav etsy sellers,

Now, how about some skelly images for the Haunted Humpday freebies...
