Open Happiness

For a Coke fan like me, watching something like this makes me feel "moved" (and giddy!), hahaha:

Not Happy

Have you seen Anne C's new billboard in Edsa near Makati? Hubby even called me up to tell me about it. It seems that I won't be happy daw when I do see it. Fired up, fired up, fired up... I'm now thinking if we can pass some other route on our way to the office so I won't be so critical every single day... Maybe that'll work.

Isn't This Much Much Better?

It's been a few weeks since my somewhat controversial post about the EDSA Jag ad of A.L. While I ached to make a follow-up blog or at least a reaction to the comments gathered by the post, I decided to keep quiet and not make things more hurtful than what has been already said. Anyway, I just want to say that, at long last, they changed this ad already this week. The picture now is still that of A.L., maybe of that same shooting day but in another set-up. ISN'T THIS MUCH BETTER? A.L. looks very pretty here (in fairness). And hurray for no unsightly body parts are showing! I'm simply happy that my travel along ...

Somebody Please Help Me Pull Out This Ad

My husband and I travel via EDSA almost daily to go to work. Especially in the morning, as EDSA transforms into a big parking lot, it is inevitable for those who pass by to see all those commercial billboards scattered throughout EDSA. I really don't mind being called prudish but there is this particular ad found between Guadalupe going to Estrella (just after San Carlos Seminary and Bahay Pari) that I'm hoping will be pulled out soon (or put down, for that matter). The ad is by Jag and the model is Angel Locsin. It seems that Angel has agreed to move out of the angelic image and into a more daring (mature?) look. What impression does Angel want to potray in that kind of pose? She's already revealing most of her "hinaharap". It's not the same sweet girl impression that she exudes when she's talking during interviews. Or maybe Jag is trying to be a local version of Guess USA with its ads filled with models clad in very revealing and skimpy outfits. Hmmm...m...
