Fun Little Bubbles....

I love summer and all the wonderful weather and fun in the water so when i saw
this fun die from Spellbinders i thought about bubbles in the ocean and the color
of mermaids and got straight to work on my fun card.

To make this card you will need the Spellbinders "Celebrations" confetti plate
some cardstock in aqua colors, vellum and the Hip Hooray Sequins.  I thought it
would be fun to interchange the circles that i cut out inside the other one and add a
few sequins to make it sparkly like bubbles and i really like it.  For the sentiment i
tore a small piece of vellum and then used the Spellbinders lower case font to
make my own letters that matched.  Super quick and easy and ready to mail.

Thanks for stopping over today and hopefully soon i will have some other things
to share on my blog and be sure and check out Ruby Rocket, Quietfire, RRR and
Scrap N Art magazine for lots of other fun ideas too from me.

Have a wonderful day...Teresa

Lovin the RV Life...

I think its so fun to make something special for someone and when you find
that perfect paper or picture to do it, the whole thing turns out wonderful.  I
found a really cute RV photo in the Summertime Vintage Booklet.  I loved that
adorable couple with the vintage RV and i new i had to make a cute
decoration for a friends remodel project.

For my project i just used the top photos in the journal booklet
of the Guide to paridise and the RV photo.  I mixed them with some
papers that i printed from the Vintage Patterns CD and cut the edges
with a border punch i had in my stash.  The doilies are from Spellbinders
and the flowers and ribbon are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.com.

And the chipboard heart you can see here with lots of other fun things
that you can use to make pretty home decor for your house too.  I traced the
heart on kraft paper and cut that out and then sanded the edges of the heart
and then inked all around it.  I think it makes the photos pop really nice!

That's all for today and thanks for stopping over.  If you ever have
a question about something be sure and leave me a comment and i
would be happy to try and answer it for you... Have a great day!

It's the little things...

Hi everyone and happy Monday to all of you.  It's been a fun weekend for me both
at Disneyland celebrating the 60th Anniversary with everyone and enjoying all the
rain we have had the last 2 days.  We still need more but all the plants are happy again
so that is good.  Lots of veggies getting ripe on the vines!!  Yay for that :)

And it's time again to share another card i did with new papers that i printed from
Crafty Secrets.  This time i used the Creating with Vintage Patterns CD and one of
the bingo cards.  I wanted to use brighter colors for this one to match the
image that i printed and i really like the way it came out.

I made this card for a special neighbor that lives by my father in law
back in Indiana.  She is the sweetest lady and so thoughtful and kind.
And she has the most amazing garden you have ever seen so I think
she will like it.  I used Aqua, salmon and pink card stock for the base
and die cut the fence, lattice and circle from Spellbinders dies.
The bingo card is also printed from the CD from Crafty Secrets.

Here is a closeup so that you can see the image better.
The colors and the print are so pretty and if you have ever grown hollyhocks
in your garden-you will know why i like it so much.  They are just so pretty.

Well that's all for today and thank you for stopping by...

New RR Ribbon Challenge for July

We have a new challenge up on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog using the
new July Ribbon Collection with lots of beautiful black and white ribbons.
The challenge is to make anything you like and just add one color to it.

So for my project i decided to use this letter that i have had around for
awhile to use up on the wall with some photos frames.  I decided to paint
it black to match the frames and then i cut out a pattern for the papers and
glued them inside so that it would have a black frame and pop too.
All the papers are from Crafty Secrets and i printed out what i needed for it
and it was really easy and the patterns went with the ribbons perfectly.

The ribbons are all from the July Ribbon Club Collection and just a few flowers for
my one color that i had in my stash of things.  The large ribbon in the back is
May Arts Black Webbing and i really like the extra texture that it adds to the other
ribbons and flowers in the cluster. And i also used a punch on the top and below
the band in the center for just a little bit more design.  And now it's ready to put
up with my photo college and i have one more project ticked off my list :)

Thanks so much for stopping over and don't forget to create something
fun for our challenge for a chance to win some of these gorgeous ribbons.

Have a wonderful day....Teresa

It's time for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop....

Hi all you ribbon lovers out there...it's time for another fun hop for July with
all of our designers on the RRR Crew.  Today we have lots of fun ideas to share
and i hope that all of you will get a little inspired and make something fun.

So if you started at the beginning on RRR Blog hop--- you should
be arriving from Karen's blog here....

And my project that i am sharing is a piano notebook that you can use
as a journal or whatever else you might need to jot down to keep.

I love this months ribbons because they pretty much go with everything.
I used them to tie on the side for bookmarks.. super easy...

And i had enough paper to make a quick card too.  I use the sheer black
ribbon to make up a bow and added a pretty rhinestone in the center.
The paper comes with the border on it and i trimmed the bottom to give
it a little more pizazz.  For the sentiment i stamped it in black and
cut it out with a Spellbinders oval.  It was super easy and quick!

Thanks so much for stopping over and it's time to hop on over to
Jenn's Blog and see what she has to share this month....

Happy Crafting everyone :)

Our New Crafty Secrets Challenge is up today

Today we have a fun challenge on our blog for you with a Summer Theme to it.
Getting the chance to take a quick vacation or travel to one of my bucket list
destinations is always top priority with me.  And having my book ready to fill
with lots of photos, tags and all the goodies i pick up on the way is the best.  Today
i have a pocket book that i started with a cute cover of these two adorable
images on the beach. There are lots more on the 4 pages that come with it so i
will use lots of those for the inside pages to share later.

For the images i used the C/S Travel page and cut them out and distressed them
with a little gingerbread ink from Tsukineko.  The papers i printed off of the
Creating with Vintage Patterns CD  in blue and orange and that pretty brown
printed paper.  And i added a pocket and tags, flowers and some twine for fun.
It was lots of bits of things that i had in my stash but since i get to print my
own papers it was fun to see it all come together so well.  The inside pages
i will share with you next week... i just have a few more things i want to add to them...

Thanks so much for stopping over and be sure and check out the Crafty Secrets
website for more fun digital images to print for all your projects too.  And don't
forget to join the challenge with us... we would love to see what you make too.

Have a great day... Teresa
