Another year gone by

This is something I've been working on for a while.  This is a "Year Long Class with Carla Sonheim".  I started late.  Middle of the year, I think?!?  The class has 12 lessons and zoom lessons.

Take what you want from each lesson and put it on the map.  The map measure 30" X 22", the map was divided into 12 squared using water color and letting the water color run and determine the size and shape.  I have had so much fun with this.

Working on one section at a time.  Plus you can fold it up.

I think I will do another for 2023.  It's a big or small project.  It's all in how you look at it.  I work on it whenever I have time.

The year is coming to an end

What a year it was!  Things I took for granted, that may never be?!?  And so we end the year with lots of uncertainties.  I went thru some of my pics of Art that I created throughout the year and thought it would be fun to post them.

It's always fun to look back and see what I've accomplished.  This of course is not everything.  I picked out one pic per month.  And for some odd reason when uploading the pics they went out of order, but that is OK!

This keeps me motivated and I'm looking forward to the New Year and new Art.  Stay well everyone!

Playing with paper clay

I've been playing with Paper clay the past month.  Loving the feel on getting my hands dirty.  May it be dirt or clay!  I'm taking an on-line class with Kathy Lewis.

It's been a great adventure and I'm learning new things.  Plus not to mention how addictive it is.  I started the lesson with faces.  Which was way cool!

Next I started working on some birds.  I'm having fun now.  Made five of them.  Love all of them.  Mind you they are very time consuming, because you're building them from scratch.  I love the out come of each and every one of them.

I now have to decide what I want to create next.  I still have some Paper clay left and don't want it to dry up.  So stay tuned!
