"Dana's Autumn" (sold)
12 x 15 watercolor on 140lb Arches coldpress
"and the trees of the field shall clap their hands" Isaiah 55:12
Snow fell all day yesterday....a lot of snow. It's time to accept that this beautiful autumn is over and get on with "IT" It being winter. If you know me, you know that the mere thought of winter makes me shiver but I can appreciate a beautiful sunny winter day. Too bad Michigan is not known for sunshiny days.
My inspiration for this painting? My dear friend, Dana, has a beautiful autumn photo as her facebook photo......this is it!

So, I found this painting in the "archives" from a class I took with Steve Rogers. I had a photo from a day my friend, Cathy, and I went down to the Boyne City Marina on Lake Charlevoix. They were holding sailing school that morning.
