Ice Pick Chicks

Why collect these? Do we have a morbid fascination with gore? No; we have a healthy concern with academic fraud, censorship, authoritarian ideology, operative conditioned mental passivity, and bogus propaganda that has brainwashed people to ignore that historical fact that women are indeed violent and that their violence is – despite the lies we are daily fed – is not limited to defensive response.

Mildred Davidson, Tennessee Triple Axe Murderess - 1943

FULL TEXT: Memphis, Aug. 12 – Three children, one only three months old, were hacked to death in bed early today by a long-handled axe and ice pick and, several hours later, police inspector M. A. Hinds announced their mother had been taken into custody.

Capt. Pete Weibenga had said earlier that the mother, Mrs. Mildred Davidson, apparently fled the scene shortly after the slaying. She was walking alone, heading in the direction of her home, when apprehended.

Hinds said no charges had been placed, that a statement was being taken from her in the attorney general’s office.

Weibenga, head of the homicide bureau and in charge of the investigation, said Mrs. Mildred Davidson apparently fled after the children were killed.

Robert Davidson, father of two of the children and stepfather of the other, found them in bed about 7 p. m., their heads slashed and skulls crushed.

The dead: Jean Parkey, 15, Davidson's stepdaughter; Robert L. Davidson. 7, and Peggy Ann Davidson, 3 months.

Davidson, employe of an insurance company, said his wife awakened about 6 a. m., and asked if he was going to get up and plant some corn in the garden. He replied in the negative and went back to sleep.

About an hour later, he added, he went into the front room of the duplex apartment and found the slain children – one in a large bed, another on a couch and the baby in her crib.

Standing against a large fireplace in the room was a blood-stained axe which Weibenga named as the death weapon.

Maria Blanco, Proxy Ice Pick Murderess from Maryland - 2009

Wheaton, Maryland – Maria Blanco, 23,  proposed a plan to her husband, Moises Rodriguez, 20. She would invite her ex-boyfriend, Samuel Chacon, father of her child, over for a sex romp. After embracing Samuel Moises would jump out from behind a tree and stab him to death with an ice pick  And it worked, on Nov. 17, 2009, Samuel walked into the trap and was polished off with thirteen stabs – five blows to the back, eight to the chest.

When she was questioned by detectives in the days after the murder, Maria used the standardized false accusation strategy, selecting the “rape” version. She was not, however, believed.

As it turns out, Maria had lost custody of her six-year-old child to the murdered father. The killers were each sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Rose Lee Demery, Florida Ice Pick Murderess - 1955

FULL TEXT: Clearwater, Florida – A jury last night found a St. Petersburg woman guilty a first-degree murder in the ice-pick slaying of her love rival, but spared her life by recommending mercy.

The recommendation of the jury, which deliberated six hours, carries an automatic life sentence for Mrs. Rose Lee Demery, saving her from the electric chair.

Earlier in the trial – the second for Mrs. Demery, whose first ended in a mistrial when the jury failed to agree – the state introduced a confession with no objection from the defense, which pleaded self-defense.

In that, the state said, Mrs. Rosa Lee Demery admitted the ice-pick stabbing of Emma Lois Davis at the Roosevelt Walker beer garden in St. Petersburg last July 25.

~ PLEADS SELF-DEFENSE ~

St. Petersburg Detective J. M. Wellman stated Mrs. Demery had signed the confession at the police station on July 26 in the presence of witnesses.

Headed by James Smith, St. Petersburg attporney, the defense contended throughout the day yesterday that while Emma Louis died as a result of wounds inflicted by Mrs. Demery, she stabbed her victim in the chest only in self-defense.

Placed on the stand in her own defense, Mrs. Demery testified she committed the act in self-defense. She said she had gone to the beer garden about 12:15 a.m., July 26, to have a business talk with Walker.

~  TELLS OF THREAT ~

Mrs. Demery testified further that her life had been threatened as early as last May by the woman and that on the night of the stabbing she (Mrs. Demery) stood outside the tavern and asked Walker to come outside to talk with her.

She stated Emma Lois was in the tavern with Walker; followed him out the front door, armed with a knife and slashed at her three times.

It was only then she struck back at her assailant with an ice pick she had been carrying for protection, she testified, she did not realize she had wounded the Davis woman at the time, she added.

Davis argued Mrs. Demery could not plead self-defense because, she said, she had started the quarrel which led to the Davis woman’s death.

Xenia, Ohio – Ice pick murderess Sandra Matthews-Johnson called 911 on the evening of Aug. 6, 2007 to report that her victim Ottie Marie Tomlinson had fallen and injured herself. The personnel who had contact with Tomlinson that night testified that she told them that “Sandy” had stabbed her with a pen.
