ting:

the perfect saturday consists of:

sleeping in.
turning off your work phone and leaving it at home.
wearing a pretty dress which you've been saving for a special occasion.
meeting your favourite girl (who has officially been dubbed my concert/musical partner) for one of the best musicals ever - the lion king.
being rendered awe-struck by the excellence of the props, costumes and stage settings. and then being held captive by the cast's voices and immersion into their respective roles. (but we got hungry midway into the second half, so we started looking at all the "animals" roaming around on stage thinking, "meat! meat!")
the yummiest dinner (and yes, we had meat. such carnivores.).
ice cream after dinner.
being cajoled into buying shoes because my concert-musical partner has a 10% discount card.
parting ways so i can go on to meet my favourite relatives from melbourne.
catchups and discussions. concerts and musicals talk. camera and photography experiments.

life should always be this way :)
