4.5 hours of thought and discussion to no avail. i still can't quite wrap my head around that "equation". ><

attempts to plot it as a graph modeling on the economic theory of demand and supply did not work. since when did doing my bachelors seem easier than this?

no prizes for guessing what would dominate my dreams tonight.

year 2010. many of my firsts.
- went for an op (dun worry, it's lasik)
- totally no makeup/concealler to work (though not tt i have a choice)
- travelled to yishun just for the chong pang nasi lemak
- to taipei
- to jakarta
- visit a skin doc
- wore shades indoors/office
- getting wasted and puked
- drove on my own
- did parallel parking in a public place (haha)
- kicked someone's toe and the nail came out
- did not turn up for reunion dinner
- bought somemore for more than 3k

3 days, and my foot is still a balloon (or, in adel's words, "shrek's foot"). attempts to "de-shrek" it has not been successful.

ting:

for the second time in my life, i didn't use my eyes, didn't look where i was going and ended up stepping into a hole and wrecking my foot. i tested my ankle and it didn't feel like a twist or sprain (it was mostly just sore), so i happily put my shoe back on and proceeded to walk in wedges for the next 9 hours. thank God it only started really hurting when i was waiting futilely for a cab. it is now red, swollen and ugly. i can't quite find the epicentre of the pain too, which is majorly annoying ><

i now need to go find an aloe vera plant to murder.

pain aside, it was an absolutely stellar day. we overdosed on tea refills, wrote scripts in our minds, sat by the river watching adrenaline junkies spin themselves 360 degrees into the air, decided on the spur of the moment to celebrate our nation's birthday by going all the way up to breathe in the views of the night skyline and talked our tongues tired.

doing this once a year isn't enough. we need to catch up more often :)
