selena is leaving soon :( i only had a couple of hours with pammie today :( i miss xhinny and enoch after 5 whole days with them :( i miss my sai lou after 1.5 months with him :( i miss the girls and the bbq they're going to have on tuesday :( i miss ira because i haven't spoken to her in so long :( i miss jovan because i haven't seen him in 2 years :(

why we should make it a priority to know God's word.
1. Ephesians 6:17. the word of God is your only offensive weapon (everything else was defensive).
2. to program your paradigm with the promises of God. His word is your only way to fight back.
building a powerful case before God in prayer.
1. prayer is your highest appeal, not your last resort. (Acts 4:23. prayer wasn't the disciples' last ditch effort. they went straight to God.) don't diminish the privilege of prayer in the life of a believer.
2. build your prayer on the solid foundation of God's sovereignty (ie. acknowledge that He is in charge) and build a case on God's agenda (not your own).
3. don't always pray for God to make things better. pray for Him to make you bolder. (Acts 4:29) we sometimes ask God to deliver us out of the things He wants to enable us to walk through, so He can deliver us in our trials rather than snatching us out of them.
4. if you're going to ask, be prepared to act. create the opportunity to partner with God. sometimes, His answer to our prayers is our actions.

malaysia was so awesome i didn't want to come back.
meetups, laughter, conversations at 3.30am, prayers in the car, failed attempts at getting me to blush, the immensely ticklish fish spa, the black hokkien mee and then, the black lou she fun (i have no idea how to spell it. and why are all things in malaysia black?), confession of fear (which exist no more. hurray for therapy!), stranger than fiction, hearing two sides of an engagement story, intense talks, cheated by an indoor mamak (singapore's version of a coffee shop) before the real mamak experience, smiling till your cheeks hurt, laughing till your stomach hurts, the classic line of "your legs may be nice, but are they nicer than mine?", fighting for the bill, camwhoring, circling the carpark praying for good parking spots, uh-huh, uh-huh and uh-huh (i said it at least three times today ><).
i need steadier hands. my dslr spoils me.
to my two hot hosts who metamorphosed into chauffeurs, personal assistants, planners and... luggage carriers? thank YOU for the awesomeness! :)

overslept and was late for work. bosses not around, but my teamlead was... and he ask me y i was late -__-
anyway... i have this team mate.. pretty nice gal la (as of now). lets call her SW. she did masters in accounting/finance in aust and she has abit of background knowledge of banking stuffs. hence e TL has assigned her some more complicated stuffs to do jus becos "she has some backgound" (quoted from him). and today, my lady boss asked him to choose either of us to go HK with her next week. and he chose her. reason being "she has some background and has did more complicated stuffs". wah kaoz dulan leh. nvm....
few days ago i received an email on expectations and objectives. basically mine and SW one is e same la.. except for one point.. which she mentioned im more senior than her in terms of working experience, so i should guide her. ya can... but if e more "complicated" stuffs are always for her, then i do wad sia.. then keep telling me to read and understand. ya i noe i mus read.. but i aso need to do wad. mus have hands-on then can learn mah. only then i am able to noe what i dunno wad. then keep asking me i understand or not. RAAAA

tomorrow will mark the 12th consecutive day eny and i have been meeting. she claims she is so sick of me she wants to puke upon seeing me, and she can't wait to kick me off to the land that is truly asia.
but i know it's just a facade. she is planning a ton of activities to keep herself occupied during the five days i'm away, just so she can fill the void i'm leaving behind. ain't that sweet :)
(yeps, i will get killed when she meets me tomorrow, after she reads this entry. i can already imagine her expression when she sees this post =P keep an eye out for what's going to be heaps of eye-rolling on our tagboard =P)

put the three of us together and we turn into retards who can't even walk down a street properly without clutching each other and laughing till we wanted to pee.
everytime we managed to sober up, someone would say something to make us howl with laughter again. i think the entire estate heard us. and i seriously wanted to just keel over with laughter.
it was so good. we should do it again, only this time, on empty bladders =P
