i've never been so impressed by my immune system. or rather, the lack of it. this is the FIFTH time in the past four months i've fallen sick!!!! $%$&@(&*@^&#^@&%$@@&#

i better recover enough to be able to walk out of my front door tomorrow because something tells me i won't be scoring any brownie points if i reschedule anymore of my interviews.

ps: please refrain from calling me coz these days, i've taken to communicating via hand signals.

this year is probably turning out to be the worst in my life. and i thought the second half of last year was bad.

Hui:

its fruits day at at workplace! haha no la.. actually its the clients who have some contacts of a fruit stall n they are able to get cheap n good fruits. my team ordered a lot of fruits! let the pics do e toking. all these for abt $200! cheap right!! *becoming auntie liao* jus to clarify, all tt i bought was a packet of strawberries and a carton of ice cream mangoes, shared among keong, fengyi n myself.

theres are all the fruits. note the 2 boxes of fruits in the background.

closer look at e first box.. 2 portabello mushrooms, 2 king oyster mushrooms, 4 USA white peaches, n 2 dunno wat... (forget liao). i think some mushrooms bah

box no. 2: 1, portabello mushrooms, 1 king oyster mushrooms, 2 rockmelons, 2 pkts of white cherries, 2 boxes of blackberries, 2 boxes of raspberries.

ice cream mangoes! nv see this kind of mangoes b4.. but damn nice! its sweet! look like appe though..

box 4: 3 boxes of strawberries, 2 boxes of raspberries, 2 box of blackberries, 1 box of blueberries, 1 avocado

top 2 boxes: as described. and 2 cartons of ice cream mangoes!!

hahaha alot of fruits right?! one of e managers said we bought e whole village :P

time is running out and i'm in various stages of panic. yes yes, i still have until 28 of august but that date is looming up and i simply can't put off this decision-making thing any longer!!!

ting:

i love shooting in RAW. the grain and quality of the end product is so much better blown up, though the file size is crazily huge (around 5-6mb versus JPEG's 1mb). 2gb only allowed for about 300 odd photos, though thank God we stopped after that.

wedding photography is such fun, though it's immensely tiring (only 2 hours and i was dead. can you imagine having to shoot through an entire day's worth? yesterday's was only the signing of the wedding certificate!). the enjoyable bit was having two assistants at my beck and call (poor kelen. he had to run around with balloons and squat in various awkward positions to satisfy my requirements of a "suitable" backdrop heh. and when i wanted to shoo off a group of people doing team-building exercises and didn't have the guts to.. no prizes for guessing who i asked to do the job =P) and being able to boss the wedded couple into sitting and standing the way i wanted them to.

i now want to just forget all my marketing job applications and go on to be a full-fledge professional photographer. my only fear is i'm not good enough ><

oh for the effortless creative talent, a wider wide angle lens, another camera and more filters.

heaps of editing to be done before the photos become blog ready. assuming i'm able to figure how to use the new software i downloaded which especially caters to RAW photos.

nus graduation to shoot tomorrow! boy, if only i get paid for such stuff.

Hui:

it was a girls' night out on friday with the ladies! went timber.. wah.. e music was so loud.. was practically screaming n shouting throughout the dinner.. heng din get sore throat today.. BUT.. i might be getting one tml.. cos jus had a bbq session with my colleagues/ex-colleagues.. throat hurts a little now.. trying to salvage this situation by drinking lots of water.. hope it works..

ber is so sweet! he bought me something from thailand.. SAWAN BIANG OST!!! woots!! was telling him.. it has been a decade (not kidding ok :P) since i received something from him. hahaha.. :P think he might have sensed how i was trying to record e ending song of sawan biang via youtube using my handphone n hence he bought e OST. (my dear bought me my dream phone - C902! so i wanted tt song to be my ringtone lar) n ber bought a show by e same lead actor/actress.. ber - do e translation for me hor! =P

oh yea.. gals' night out with ber! u guys mus be so envious of him right.. going out with 4 ladies on a friday night! :P well... he paid a price for that... by being our photographer!
