my biological clock is all screwed up. world cup at night, 3 or 4 hours of sleep after 8am, then out for the whole entire day.
then again, fun recharges more than rest. this holiday is good. :)
and when you think about the things we do at 4am in the morning (to keep us awake so we can watch the next match), you just want to shake your head in amazement or roll your eyes at our lameness.
there was this one night we started re-enacting music videos. i think the best was "tong hua", we actually even rehearsed it once before we took the actual video. nevermind the fact the hospital, concert venue and the place where the lead actor/actress fell in love was all taken in the same room. and thank you so much, jeysern, for literally pouring water down the side of my face (to create the effect of a tear dropping before the girl died).
spent last night in this gorgeous place which belongs to none of us. it's a friend's friend's apartment, and she went back for the holidays, leaving us the keys. yay! i love her, though i don't know her. the night was pretty short however, seeing everyone (save for me) slept off before the portugal vs holland match. so it was only me, sitting through the 90 minutes in nail-biting anxiety. it's been two years since i last watch portugal play. has it been that long? all the players look different somehow.
4 red cards and 16 yellow cards. what the hell? i got immensely worried, especially after c ronaldo got substituted due to an injury and 2 players from the portugal team (including deco) got sent off due to a red card. *curses referee* then again, with just 9 men left, i think they did a pretty good job of holding up.
so it'll be portugal vs england in the quarters. let's hope history repeats itself, the way it did for portugal this morning. and seeing england is up against portugal... well, that is enough reason to all the more want england out.
australia vs italy tonight. i think all of us have sort of switched sides... we are starting to root for australia. i know in the aussie vs croatia match, jo and i were so definitely screaming (silently, so as not to wake the rest up) for aussie. but it is pretty evident from the way aussie plays.. they aren't ready yet. lots of missed opportunities and lousy passing. but hey, who would ever have imagined they'd make it through, facing teams like croatia and japan?
flying off tomorrow (though it doesn't feel like it). heading to sydney, then to canberra. hope i can get all my packing done, inbetween clearing up my apartment, planning the holiday itinerary and watching 2 matches.

finally~ a post from me!
i'm so tired nowadays. augus roll off liao.. and more work for me to do as i have to take on some invoicing tasks from mandy. stress man.. seeing e invoiing amt is like so many much $$$. at least 5-digits per invoice. and i handle like at least 10 per month. and our invoicing process is always complicated. involves too many parties to get things paid and be paid.. and mandy actually left 2 invoices in the cabinet.. he din submit them e previous round. and now we're unable to pay our vendor. we may get hit by capital charges.. 5% sia..
had thai food at Siam Kitchen @ Great World City with jac and e gang at Rob Ctr (around 10ppl in total). not too bad.. the battered fish and pineapple rice was good. they wanted to go zouk, but augus and i gave it a miss. we are not clubbing kind of ppl.. and those who went MOS with me e other time (augus, ben, jac, justin, tony sim and tze pin) should noe that i seriously can't dance/drink. haha.. so i tihnk better dun waste money going there la.. waste my time too.. and definitely we'll have to take a cab home and get hit by midnight charge. so augus and i left, and walked from great world city to somerset, took bus and went home.
going jana's house later to "bai shi xue yi".. ask her to teach me how to make cookies/bake stuffs. i dun even noe how to start man.. had a recipie that siowshan sent me. but she dunno where to find e ingredients as well. sent tt to jana and she said should be able to find in ntuc. super cheem la.. my F&N is D7 k.. so i'm meeting her 10am at yishun. omg. freaking early.. though i can still wake later than during weekdays.

went suntec to look buy fathers' day gift for his dad. we were looking at some casio watch. while walking thru citylink to suntec, we were caught red-handed by Tony Sim. he is someone i knew from integration team (my ex-manager's current team, which is also justin's team). noe everyone from that team, and in fact, 3 (including justin) noes im attached, but dunno to who. cos all i said was they have met him actually.. at my birthday party. LOL.. this time jialat liao, he sure go spread. i think he was too shock to say or to do any teasing. cos augus and i were holding hands, and then he walked past me and ask me where am i doing and all. but he nv say anything abt us. hmm.. augus and i think they he was too shocked to do anything. futhurmore he always tease justin and me, he too paiseh liao. LOL.. nvm lar, augus' going to roll off from e project soon =)
had dinner, walked around and augus sent me home. as usual, i would wait with him for his bus. this time, there is a siao kia. and i really meant SIAO. augus and i were sitting on one "bench" at e bus stop. one bench can normally take up to abt 4 ppl.. but we were taking up 3 seats, cos one some space was taken up by augus' bag. and that siao de was sitting at another bench infront of us. suddenly he stood up and sat beside me. but at that time i was toking to augus and facing him so i din noe that siao de sat beside me. WTF?! so little space come squeeze with me for wad? anyway, augus asked me "ur friend ah?" i turned around and saw that siao de. i told augus no. then that siao de said to me "dun be afraid" wah piang, all e more i feel terrified lor! then i was too shocked, and i lost track of wad was i saying to augus. then e siao de say "now still got bus 169?" i dunno wad e hel he was toking, i onli heard "bus 169". but anyway augus and i said yes. then i was very scared already. he seems to noe our daily "itinerary". after that, he moved back to where he was sitting. ie, the bench infront of us. but he kept turning back and look at us. and smile somemore. SI BIAN TAI. PERVERT. SIAO. i was damn scared already. then augus kept saying he wants to see me home first. i said no, cos i wan to wait for that siao one to go off. finally bus 169 came and he got off e bus. augus wanted to go up with him, but i din let him. after that siao de was gone, he saw me home to my doorstep =) but i was still worried though.. worried for him. who noes another siao one is nearby also. jialat liao, we cannot go back at e same time everyday liao. i was really terrified lor! omg..
gonna have meet-the-parents session tml and on sunday. hehe.. hope all goes well! =D

just when you thought life couldn't possibly get any worse, fate (in the form of a flu virus) had to prove you wrong on the eve of your FIRST paper. it started off with me sneezing a lot last night, but i thought it was some random sneezing fit. then came the onset of a sore throat and the horrible realisation that i was falling sick and there was nothing i could do about it.
sigh.
so now, i have a headache on top of a headache and am spending the last day of staring at my micro text with a runny nose and a sore throat.
i'm so sick of waiting for something which is gonna come anyway. so can it hurry up and just COME, so we can get it all over with? the waiting is the hardest bit. once it actually starts, you slip into routine so easily it's over before you even know it.
was gossiping with suba and ira last night and suba told me this: her friend saw her display picture on msn (which happened to be of suba, jo and me) and asked "is that the girl who likes *censored*?".
WHAT!?? since when?? how come even i didn't know that!? and how in the world did a total stranger get such news?
the brilliance of it all. now, even my reputation is sliding in the direction of the toilet drain.
don't jump to conclusions folks. if i'm in love, i'll clarify things myself.

while taking a break from cournot models and oligopoly diagrams, i went to download the world cup schedule, so i could start deciding which are the matches i'm gonna give priority to.
UGH! why must the australia vs brazil match be on the eve of my last paper!!???? ok, so we all know who's gonna win, no surprises. but still... i kinda wanna get some sadistic satisfaction out of seeing australia get thrash (evil me) after hearing (with a lot of amusement) the aussies comment on how much they were looking forward to thrashing brazil. yeah right.
nowhere in a million years would that happen.
i kinda want to watch the brazil vs croatia match as well but sigh. it has to be on the eve of my consumer behaviour paper.

whee~ finally have e time to blog. have been sleeping at weird hours for e past few days..
augus' friend rented a car and wanted him to help return on sat.. so he passed him e car on friday. initial plan was that both of us go home first, and then augus will come and fetch me and we go out to have supper. in e end there was a change of plan. we went to meet his friend and his wife for dinner, send them home and we went changi village. wanted to watch sunrise at changi beach but it was too boring there. we went east coast instead. walked and walked that day sia.. and i talked non-stop (as usual). poor guy was very tired already. he slept onli 4hours e day b4. but then bo bian, he still had to walk and listen to me tok. =P was reminded that i once told my friends that the first (and onli) guy/bf that would accompany watch my first sunrise would be my future partner. dun ask me y, i jus felt that way. unlike e previous bfs, i din have to suggest or "plead", augus was e one who suggested watching it. i din have to suggest or say anything. it was also his first sunrise. we watched e sunrise at bedok jetty. we were like idiots can.. cos we dunno which exact spot will e sun come out from. and we din noe wad time will e sun rise. so we waited from 5+am to 7+am. LOL.. not v v v nice la.. cos it was a very cloudy day. but still, i caught my first sunrise. =)
reached home at abt 8am, and slept all e way till 530pm.. woke up, onlined awhile and went out again. went to hunt for mei's watch.. but e watch onli got one size leh.. after that went merlion again.. chatted non-stop. =)
hmm.. feel like eating potato chips. will go buy one pack later..
tml monday... zzz.. need to start on my invoicing. stress sia. haiz.. nvm, i'll try to pull this thru.. for another 6months w/o augus atound! =)
