Algarrobo

This is one of my favorite trees, it's an old algarrobo... unusual way to live, without water, alone and looking at the landscape so comfortably.

Mats will be a cold and dusty option, but it's the only chance for someone... when they don't have money and land, they just want to live in family.

Silent cactus

It isn't a cementery... but the silence and the wind can recreate so many things in middle of the cactus. As if they walk direct the hill praying for their lifes.

No, no es un cementerio... pero el silencio y el viento pueden recerear tantas cosas en medio de los cactus. Como si ellos caminaran directamente hacia el cerro pidiendo por sus vidas.

We can still find a daily selling apples with caramel, but I think children are buying less nowadays.

Weaving baskets

Moche artisans used to weave reed baskets of all sizes for different uses. Some of them work on this for fifty years.

Estos artesanos de Moche usan carrizo para tejer canastas de diferentes tamaños, para diversos usos. Algunos de ellos trabajan en este oficio desde hace cincuenta años.

Moche culture has an famous icon, it's the Moche Decapitor. If you visit moche you'll find a lot of souvenirs with this icon.

I was walking at the country side of Trujillo, I went with some friends to visit Moche, the most turistic places, and suddenly I saw this tattoo, I liked it a lot!!!... a happy explorer amphibian :)

old machine

I found this old sewing machine, forgotten or resting after so many years of work... I think it's a nice relic.
