Petroglyphs

Trujillo has a rich archaeological legacy, some of them are better known than others. In Simbal, a district in the country side of Trujillo, we can find petroglyphs, with simple and complex lines on the rocks, no much people come to here, maybe they don't know about this petroglyphs but it's a challenge to get them because you have to cross a small river and climb up a steep hill, but all worth it.

Seeing cloth drying by the air is very common here, also, it's common to see meat (beef) dried by means of air and sun, specially in the country side. This kind of meat is called "cecina".

Peruvian Stepping Horse

Some months ago I posted a Chalan with his Peruvian Stepping Horse or "Caballo de paso"... last weekend I saw two of this kind of horses but in different places: one at the beach and the another one at the country side. The Caballo de Paso is very important for people of the peruvian coast and it's very special for peruvian north.
