Treat Bags and My "Wednesday Wonder" Feature @ Lily Pad Cards

Hi Everyone!

I was very excited and honored when I was asked by Deborah Nolan and  Vicky Papaioannou  if they could interview me for their "Wednesday Wonder" feature on the Lily Pad Cards blog.
They are the creators of the super cool InLinkz tool that you will see on all of my posts from now on. Check out the product pictures at the ends of my posts. If you see a product you like, just click the link and it takes you there. Is that awesome or what?  :)
I didn't want them sending people my way and me not having something new for you to look at so I created some quick and easy treat bags with my "Autumn Friends" colored digi.

Click on the picture for a closer look! :)

I actually created the labels in this set for just this purpose but they would look great on cards too. Just print them off, cut them out and attach to cello bags, tiny brown paper bags, pre-printed treat bags, tags for popcorn balls, quick cards...etc!
Wouldn't these be fun to send to school with the kiddos or hand out to the special little goblins that come to visit?

This is what the "Autumn Friends" colored digi looks like. It is available for instant download for just $4.00!

Of course it is also available in the line art version if you would rather color it yourself. You will have to draw on your own jack-o-lantern carving though since it was a new addition when I created the colored set.
It can be yours via instant download for just $3.00.

I hope everyone who came from Lily Pad Cards will "follow" me and come back every now and then to see what I have been up to.
I also hope those of you who already follow me, will head over to Lily Pad Cards and check out their blog.
They asked some questions about things in my interview that you might not know about me. *wink*wink*
They have lots of fun features including tutorials, artist interviews, design team inspirations and challenges, just to name a few. Please tell 'em True sent ya!

Thanks to Lily Pad Cards for featuring me and thanks to all of you for dropping by today!

Hugs,
True :D

I'm Excited to be Guest Designing for PSA Essentials Again Today! & Blog Candy PRIZE ALERT!!!!

Hi Everyone!

Wen Libby O asked me to guest design for PSA Essentials again, I was more then happy to play with her fun stamps!
I made 3 projects and will show one of them here, but you will have to visit the PSA Stamp Camp blog to see the other 2. ;)
Make sure and read to the bottom before you go though because Libby is giving a very nice prize to one lucky follower!

I created this super quick and easy cupcake gift box for my blog post.
It would make a great Teacher or co-worker gift!

I used PSA Essential's "Dare To Dream" and "Mr. and Mrs." Peel and Stick sets.
I love mixing the outer rings and centers from different sets!  :)

BTW...isn't that ribbon almost as yummy looking as that cupcake?
It is Rose Silky Crush from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The "designer paper" I used is "Preschool Artist" from my new "True-ly Colorful" digital paper pack that you can purchase from Clear Dollar Stamps.
I had a blast creating this fun collection of papers!
It is downloadable now in your choice of  either  8"x11 1/2" or 12"x12"  formats for just $3.00!

I thought I would tease you with a snippet from one of my other projects that is on the PSA Stamp Camp blog.  Hope it peaks your interest!  Bad aren't I?   ;)

Now, about the prize...
PSA will giveaway 1 stamper, 1 Peel & Stick pack, and 1 ink to one of my followers. All you have to do is follow me (if you aren't already) then head over to PSA Stamp Camp and follow them. It would be great if you left a comment both places too. *wink*wink*
The winner will be chosen at random. Entries close on 9/18 at 11.59 PM.

To get your own PSA Essentials stamps, head on over to Polka Dot Parlor where they are having a 25% off sale on Peel and Stick Packs or a free alignment tool with the purchase of a custom stamp. Offer is good now through 10/1

To see or purchase any of the other products I used on this project, please click on the pictures below.

Thanks so much for dropping by!

My Latest Digis Release, A New RRR Challenge and My Geust DT for Want2Scrap. :)

Hi Everyone!

I just love it when my crafty obligations all fall together like these did!
Today is digital release day over @ Clear Dollar Stamps, a new "Autumn" challenge starts @ Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings, and one of my Guest Designer spots over @ Want2Scrap!
I used my new "Pre-colored Autumn Friends" digi set that is available for instant download starting today!

The designer papers come in the digi set and the cardstock is from Discount Card Stock.

The fun bling is Want2Scrap's - White Pearl Beaded Square Nestabling that I colored with Copics.
(Thanks to Want2Scrap for all of the goodies you sent me to play with!)

The beautiful Apple Green Diamond Satin ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
All of my digi images and papers are printed on Discount Card Stock's - Simply Smooth White cardstock.

My "Pre-colored Autumn Friends" digi comes with the image in both "carved" and "non-carved" pumpkins, (2) sentiments, plus (3) 6"x6" designer papers and (3) ready to print squares that would be perfect for Halloween cards, gift tags, or treat bags or boxes. The set can be yours instantly for just $4.00!

This year for Halloween, we will be giving out tiny brown bags full of treats decorated with these little tags. How quick, easy and special is that? I think they would make adorable tags for popcorn balls wrapped in cellophane and tied with a ribbon too!  :)

Of course, the non-colored version of "Autumn Friends" is still available for $3.00 if you would prefer to color it yourself.

This is actually the image that is on my Featured Designer spread of the September issue of CardMaker magazine.
Here's that card again...
(I can't give the recipe for this one but you can find it on pages 12 and 13 of the Sept. CardMaker magazine)

The other digi that I have releasing today is called "Sentimental Quilt". It comes with a colored and non-colored image, (3) 6"x6"designer papers, and (4) sentiments. It's just $3.50 and available now for instant download!

Here is a fun little 4"x4" card that I whipped up with it in a matter of minutes with this set.
One of the cool things you can do with digis that you can't do with stamps is size them to fit whatever you need.
The beautiful Hand-dyed Moss Silk is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you will head on over to Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings challenge blog and see what the other girls have created for your viewing pleasure!

I also invite you to go check out the Want2Scrap blog and tell them True :D sent ya!

BTW...don't forget to head on over to the Clearly iStamp blog and see the other new releases and the awesome projects the girls have created with them!

If you are interested in any of the products I used on these cards, please click on the links below. ;)

Thanks and hugs,
True :D

Time For Another Really Reasonable Ribbon's Challenge ~ "I Got You Babe!"

Hi Everyone!
Happy September 1st!
It's the first of the month so it's time for another Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings Challenge.
Your challenge this time is "I Got You Babe". We will leave the interpretation up to you and look forward to seeing how creative you can get with it.  ;)

I also want to give a big shout out to Want2Scrap! They asked me to be a guest designer for them the month of September and sent me an awesome assortment of pretty bling to play with! Look for it on lots of my upcoming creations, including today's. ;)

For my challenge sample, I used the adorable #10294H-"Baby Bunny Stroller" and #1405F -"Welcome Baby!" stamps from Inky Antics.

The pretty papers are from Basic Grey's "Two Scoops" 6"x6" paper pad. It has sadly been retired but....it's available now as a digital download! Woohoo! :)
I thought the sweet Pastel Green Satin Swiss Dots ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, matched it PERFECTLY! :) Isn't it yummy?  :)
BTW...everyone always asks how I get my ribbons so perfect. My secret is the Bow-Easy. It is one of those tools that I just couldn't do without! :)
I used watercolors to color the image then added some dots to the buggy with Ranger Ink's- Yellow Pastel Studio Acrylic Paint. I also used some of their Pale Ochre, Veridian, and Sap Green Archival Inks on the edges of the image and sentiment banner. The banner is just hand cut and popped.
I also used PC1022 and PC938 Prismacolor pencils to draw some "plaid" on the buggy shade.
I used a 3D balloon sticker from The Paper Studio, over the top of the balloon image for a little more dimension. I added some tiny heart buttons from my stash, where the image had round buttons.
True :D Tip of the day...Use white paint (I used Ranger Ink's) to draw the thread on your buttons to save time!
I did some detail accents with Sakura Gelly-Roll pens in Sky Star and Silver Star.
The image and frame were cut with circle and scalloped circle Nestabilities. I stitched around the border of the card with yellow thread and the finishing touches are the pretty yellow pearls. They are actually Want2Scrap's White Self-adhesive Pearls that I colored with a Y08 Copic for just the right shade I needed. I love buying lots of white or clear bling for this very purpose! :)

I hope you will head on over to our Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog to see what the other girls have created to inspire you. You could win a RRR gift certificate if you join in on the fun!
I also invite you to check out the Want2Scrap blog  and store. Thy have lots of fun stuff to play with!

Thanks for dropping by my friends!
I would so love to hear what you think about my card!  :)

Hugs,
True :D

The beautiful ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon's  May Ribbon Club set.

The drop dead gorgeous cardstock is Bronze, Mountain Rose, Jade Satin, and Jade Riccio, all from Discount Card Stock. I did some embossing which is always beautiful on these metallic papers.

The elegant sentiment stamp is from PSA Essentials "Mr. & Mrs." Peel and Stick stamp pack and the boarder stamp that I used gold embossing powder on, is from their "Whimsy Cakes" pack.
I thought the gold embossing tied the sentiment in with that pretty gold trimmed ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I'm The Guest Designer @ Discount Card Stock This Month! ~ Shower Invitation

Hi everyone!
I was asked to be the May Guest Designer over @ Discount Card Stock and today they featured my first project on their blog! :) I will have a project on there every Friday this month!

I was so excited to get complimentary box of pretty cardstock and start creating with it! They have so many colors and textures to choose from! I had no problem finding the perfect cardstock I needed for my son and future daughter-in-law's wedding colors!

This is a very simple and easy to make wedding shower invitation. Simple is what we all need when making multiples such as invitations...right? ;)
I designed the invitation in Word on my computer, printed it out on Discount Card Stock's - Brilliant White 110#, attached a pretty piece of ribbon and a sweet stamped wedding image then attached it to the softly colored Canary 67#, also from Discount Card Stock.

The wedding bells stamp and boarder is from PSA Essentials' "Mr. & Mrs." Peel and Stick pack.
(I am also guest designing for them this month so come back next Friday to see what else I have created with Discount Card Stock and PSA Essentials products and have a chance to win some great prizes! :)

CLICK HERE to see other projects I have done using Discount Card Stock's papers. ;)

I would so love it if you would head over to Discount Card Stock's blog and leave me some love there so they will know you came to visit. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy looking through their archives while you are there. They have some super nice projects for your inspiration.
HERE is a link to their shop too. They have some beautiful cardstocks and supplies and at very reasonable prices! The shop is organized by paper type, colors, and other categories so it is extremely easy to find just what you need fast! :)

My Cupcake Inspirations Guest DT Card

Hi Everyone!
Last week one of my cards was chosen as one of the top 5 over @ Cupcake Inspirations Challenge blog. They also asked if I would be the guest "Sweetie" for this week's challenge.
Why sure! :)
They sent me a cute Whimsy Doodle digi called "Go Big Gnome" and a cupcake inspiration photo. The colors are not ones I probably would have chosen myself but that is what challenges are all about.  :)
 Here is my card.

The image is watercolored. The pretty ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbon's ~Turquoise Glitz and I topped it with their Red Velvet Ric Rac.

Here is the inspiration photo.

Hope you'll head on over to the Cupcake Inspirations and have a peek at the other girl's creations.
Tell 'em True :D sent ya!

20 Days of Holiday Sharing @ 2 Peas Guest Designer Project

Hi Everyone!
Today's project was chosen as one of the "20 Days of Holiday Sharing" projects over @ 2 Peas In a Bucket.
I am honored to be the "Featured Guest Designer" today!  ;)
I made this wine bottle tag for a hostess gift. One of my aunts holds an annual Christmas party for our extended family and we always try to take a little something for her and my uncle.
This year, I decorated a bottle of my favorite wine with foil wrapping paper and a handmade tag.

Yummy wine but it made a much nicer presentation with the wrapping! :)

The stamp is from the "Forest of Trees" set @ Flourishes.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

True :D

My Hand-drawn English Bulldog Christmas Card ~ Week 2 as a GDT for the Paper Take Weekly challenge.

Hello All!
This is week 2 to for my Guest Designer Spot over at Paper Take Weekly.
The Challenge this time is "Cut It Out!"
They want you to use die cuts, punches, fussy cutting, etc.
How easy is that!?!

For my card this week I didn't use a stamp. I drew a picture of my dog Zoey to use for some family card exchanges. Isn't she a sweet little thing?  ;)

I love using my original artwork instead of stamps. I just don't often have the time to do it.

The papers are from Bazzill and The Debbie Mumm Harvest and Holiday stack.
I used assorted Nestabilities and the holly was punched to qualify it for this weeks challenge sample.
The berries are white half pearls that I colored with a red Copic marker.
I did the sentiment on the computer with Adobe Illustrator.

Thanks so much for dropping by! I hope to see one of your creations over at PTW this week.
Come on....ya know ya want to!  ;)

Hugs,
True :D

My Papertake Weekly Special Guest DT challenge card.

Hello All!
I am very excited!
I was asked to join the girls over @ Papertake Weekly Challenge blog as their special Guest Designer for a month!
This is the first card I did for their challenges, one of which starts today, and is "Autumn Skies" theme.
Use autumn colors...gold, reds, browns etc.

I used the digi stamp that I illustrated for Clear Dollar Stamps called "Autumn Blessings" to create this card.
It is so fun and easy to color, I find myself using it often!
One of the many awesome things about digis is you can get them instantly! You would still have tons of time to whip up some Thanksgiving place cards or napkin rings and wow your guests!
See my napkin ring sample HERE.

You can download the set instantly for just $2.50 by clicking the picture below. :)
I used Moss Swirls, one of my all time favorite ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

BTW...If you have not signed up for my birthday blog candy, sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts, CLICK HERE to go to that post. Candy entries close at midnight Central Time on Nov. 17th...my birthday!  ;)

I hope you will head on over to Papertake Weekly and have a peek at the fabulous projects the other girls have prepared for you. Who knows....you just might be inspired to join us! :)
