Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!!!!

Hi Everyone!

It's the 13th of the month so it's time for another Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog hop!

If you found your way here from Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings, you are in the right place!
If you just happened on to my blog, head on back there, because that it where it all starts! :)
You don't want to miss any of the awesome projects the girls have created for your viewing pleasure...or a chance at a great prize from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

For today's hop. were were asked to use this month's Ribbon Club Assortment. It is a bright and colorful Halloween set but, I have done several Halloween cards the last few days and was in the mood for something else. I pulled the Apple Green Diamond Satin out of the set to create today's card.

I also wanted to play along with the new design team over @ Touch Twin Markers and More Challenge blog. I have several friends on the team and just have to play along! :)
I don't have any Touch Twin markers yet but my friends swear by them! The challenge blog is letting us play along with other coloring mediums through the end of the year.
I don't have a lot of Copic markers either but I colored this sweet Tilda image the best I could with what I have.
I don't do people that often so Touch Twin's "Playin' With Our Peeps" challenge was a real stretch for me! :)

If you aren't a ribbon club member, now would be a great time to sign up! With the holidays coming up shortly, I'm sure Bonnie will be doing some great seasonal sets!
You get automatic shipments of 10-15 yards of assorted beautiful ribbons for just $9.00 domestic and $11.50 international!
This is what this month's set looks like.

Bonnie will be giving away a  September Ribbon Monthly Club kits to (2) random commentors so please make sure and comment on all of the girl's projects to increase your chances of winning!

Your next stop on the hop is Andrea's Creative Paper Trail. You're gonna love it! :)
Thanks so much for dropping by today!
Hugs,
True :D

These are the products I used on this card. Click on any of the pictures to go get yours. ;)

Really Reasonable Ribbon "OK...Keep It Clean" Card

Hi Everyone!

Today starts a new challenge over @ Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings!
We are doing a CAS (Clean and Simple) challenge today.
I am getting more comfortable with clean and simple but sometimes it's a challenge because I'm an embellishments kinda girl! :)
Here is my card...

The pretty ribbons are Old Gold Organza and Orange Swirls from Really Reasonable Ribbon
The stamp is "Fuzzy Ducky" and the sentiment is from "Heartfelt Sentiments" both available @ Clear Dollar Stamps.
The image and sentiment are stamped with Ranger Ink's - Jet Black and Vermilion Archival Inks.
The designer paper is form Basic Grey's Picadilly collection.
The sweet little Sparkled Flower is from Creative Charms. (It was white but I colored it with a Copic marker to color match the flowers the ducky is holding.)

Basic Grey sent me some extra Pickadilly Page Kits to give away as blog candy. It won't be in the stores until October but you could win some right here from my blog! Just click here and check out THIS POST to see how to enter to win it, and some other goodies.

I hope you will head on over to our Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings Blog to see the other fun creations the girls have created for you. If you join us, you could win a great prize from Really Reasonable Ribbon!

BTW...you still have a couple of days to join in on our BLOG HOP and possibly win some other crafty goodness!

Thanks for dropping by!

Basic Grey, Ranger Ink, and My Creative Charms Guest Designer Projects Plus BLOG CANDY!!!

Hi Everyone!

In my last post I told you about all of the goodies that Ranger Industries sent me to play with. Well...yesterday, I got a huge box of goodies from Basic Grey! Big thank you to Pheobs! :)
The product that Basic Grey sent is from their newest releases that won't even be on the shelves until October!
I feel soooo spoiled, but I like it! :)
You will notice that there are some duplicate products...well...they sent me some extra to give as blog candy!

Make sure to read all the way down to the bottom to see how you could win some before it is even available to the general public! :)

The product they sent is for a special project I will be working on. Won't be able to talk about it until mid 2012! Uggh! :)  Anyhow...both Basic Grey and Ranger have sent way more then I will need for the project so I started creating with some of it right away! Might as well show them some love as a thank you.  Right? :)

My first project is done with their "Picadilly" collection. I am the guest designer over at the Creative Charms blog today and I love how well their -Amber Vintage Flower Buttons and Amber Gradient Gem Stickers coordinate with the gorgeous Picadilly papers.
I used to be a regular on the Creative Charms team so when Midori asked if I would like to be a guest designer this month, I jumped at the chance! I LOVE Creative Charms!

Remember, you can click on the pictures to enlarge for a closer look. :)

Included in the stuff that Ranger Ink sent me was some Perfect Perls Sunflower Sparkle Mist which I sprayed on the entire card, concentrating more on the floral grouping and embellishments. You will be able to see it shine better in the next photo.
I also used some Monarch Orange and Vermilion Archival ink from their new colors to distress the edges of my papers and to stamp the sentiment.
The sentiment is from Verve's - Thankful Accents set and is stamped on part of a Tim Holtz- Mini Baroque Movers and Shapers Alterations Die that Ranger also sent me. :)
The card base is Bazill - Clover Leaf  Swiss Dots from Discount Card Stock.
The fabulously gorgeous  Moss Silk Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The large flower is from Prima and the pretty little roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

My next project is done with Basic Grey's "Little Black Dress" collection which will be on the shelves in October also. See how awesome Creative Charm's - Vintage Velvet Poppies go with it? I removed the white brad from the center of the larger one and replaced it with a Grey Vintage Pearl Brad. I also added a few Black Gradient Pearl Stickers to the label. The Black and Silver Dotted Leaves came in one of the past  Kit of the Month .

I used Ranger Ink's Coffee and Jet Black Archival Inks to distress the edges of the papers. The frame for the "Notes" is again the Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers Mini Baroque Alterations Die from Ranger Ink. I can tell already that I am going to wear that thing out! :) The "Note" letters came for the Little Black Dress Collection. There are lots of fun embellishments in the set.
All of the pretty brown and black ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon

OK...here is a peek at the blog candy that is up for grabs.

It is a Picadilly Page kit and I picked out some coordinating ribbon and embellishments from my precious stash. to send with it. You card makers can cut it up for cards too...I did! :)

I borrowed a view of the other side from Basic Grey...

All you have to do for a chance to win is become a follower, if you aren't already, and comment on this post (or any new posts during the month of August).
You don't have to spread the word on your blogs but it sure would be sweet of you!
I will announce the winner on September 1st.
I will be giving other Basic Grey goodies away soon so why not follow now so you can see when I post the next give-aways? ;)

You should head on over to the Creative Charms blog and see my post there today. I have another card there that I did not show here. :)  Sneaky aren't I? :)

Thanks so much for dropping by!

Another Digi Paper Freebie ~ and My Ranger Ink Card! :)

Hi Everyone!
I have been a busy girl creating lots and lots of digital paper packs to start offering for sale very soon!
I can't wait to share them with you!
I promised to give another freebie paper to my followers this week so I just created it this one for you  today.
I liked it so well that I couldn't wait to make a card with it! :)
Here is my True :D Doodle Designs  "Freebie Paper Card".

I am getting ready to start work on a huge special project and several companies have sent me product to use for it.
Am I a lucky girl or what?  ;)
The UPS guy brought me some major happy mail from Ranger Ink yesterday!

I used tons of their product on today's card but I thought I would share the reasons for the color scheme of my freebie paper.
In the package, Ranger Ink sent me, there were some Archival Ink pads and they are all super pretty but the Aquamarine is now my all time favorite color! It is stunning!
My vibrant Queen Ann's lace is in full bloom and that is my favorite color of pink.
So, I took these 2 colors for today's freebie!

I have never tried Ranger Ink's Perfect Pearls Powder so I couldn't wait to try it. I just used a touch of Turquoise and Berry Twist because I wanted subtle colors on my heart so the sentiment would pop.
The sentiment is done with their Archival Ink in Aquamarine. I then covered the entire heart with Perfect Medium and then with their UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) and heated it with a heat gun.
I took some of their Pastel Raspberry Liquid Pearls and added dots around the heart.
Here is a True tip: Allow your "pearls" to dry about 5 minutes then take a piercing tool and very gently push down in the center of each with a small twist. It gives your pearls a bit of a "rosebud" appearance!
I added even more sparkle to my Prima flower with some of Ranger Stickles in Star Dust.

The pretty cardstock is Turquoise and Brilliant White from Discount Card Stock.
The designer paper is by me.... remember it's today's freebie!
The pearls in the corners are White Gradient Pearl Stickers from Creative Charms that I colored with a Copic marker to color match.
I used Spellbinders' Heart and Scalloped Heart Nestabilities.
The sentiment is from Verve Stamp's "Thankful Hearts".

If you would like my freebie paper, please:
1. Become a follower (if you aren't already).
2. Leave a comment about my card or paper below.
3. Pop me an EMAIL HERE.

If you missed out on last week's freebie CLICK HERE.

The paper is copyrighted by True :D Doodle Designs and is for personal use on your hand-made projects only. Please do not share your files with others but please send them here to get their own copy.

If you create anything with them, please credit True :D Doddle designs in your post or galleries. I would love to have a peek too!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!

Hi Everyone!
So glad you hopped by!
Today the Inky Antics girls are doing another blog hop. We have teamed up with the wonderful Tombow team to show you some Inky/Tombow goodness!
If you are here from sweet Debbie's blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened onto my blog, you'll want to go back to Debbie's where it all starts. ;)
Our Inky friend Jackie sent us all some fun Inky Antics stamp sets and a bunch of product that Tombow sent her to give to us!
Here is the card that I did using Inky's adorable #1099OMC - "Bug Be Gone!" clear set.

Of course it was colored with Tombow markers and assembled with Tombow adhesives! :)

The cardstock is from Discount Card Stock.
The ribbons and trims are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The designer paper is from K&Company.
The gems are from Creative Charms.

* See the video below for the exact names of the products and a super quick Tombow coloring tutorial
by me!*

***BLOG CANDY ALERT!***
As I stated in the video, I already have every Tombow marker they make, but I am still glad that they sent me this set because now I can share with one of you!  All you have to do is become a follower, if you aren't already, and leave me a comment. It's that easy! :)

The blog hop ends on Sunday, July 24th at midnight Central time. Please visit each DT members’ blog to view their project and leave feedback. The more you comment, the better your chances are to win. (Limit one comment per blog, please). One person’s name will be drawn at random to receive a fun Inky/Tombow prize pack, similar to what each of our designers received to make their projects! The lucky winner’s name will be announced on the Inky Antics blog next Monday, so remember to stop back and see if you’ve won.

This is the package you could win from Inky/Tombow for commenting.

Time For Another Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge!

Hi Everyone!
Who doesn't love pink and brown?
It's one of my favorite color combos and that just happens to be the theme for Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings current challenge.
Way back when I first started stamping, I bought a bunch of Penney Black stamps and painted lots of duplicates of all of them. They have been setting in a craft drawer for years, unloved. I am going to try to start using them up, My coloring style has not changed a bit so you probably wouldn't have known that I colored this little guy 3 years ago if I didn't already tell ya! :)

I layered some fun Pink + Brown Chex ribbon over some Pink Diamond Satin, both from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The pretty papers are from Basic Grey's -"Porcelain" stack.
The cardstock is Brilliant White from Discount Card Stock.
The pretty rose and leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I invite you to head over to the RRRR challenge blog and check out what the other girls have created for your inspiration.
While you are there, make sure and sign up for the awesome blog candy that Bonnie has up for grabs! It's a huge haul! ;)

Thanks for dropping by!

Live Life With A Song In Your Heart!

Hi Everyone!
I am playing along with the girls in the "Ways To Use It" WT323 challenge today. We were asked to use music as our inspiration. I used some pretty sheet music paper and a sentiment from the "Home Tweet Home" stamp set that I illustrated for Clear Dollar Stamps for my musical bits.

The beautiful 1 1/2" Ivory Crochet Lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The Brown Sheer Looped Trim is also from RRR but is temporarily out of stock (it's just too darn popular) They do have it available in Cream or White. Great colors to keep on hand because you can always color them with Copics or other inks to get whatever color you want! ;) And thats my tip of the day!  ;)
The flower is from Prima's ~ Roosevelt Collection and I added some of their Willow Heirloom Leaves.
The Cardstock is Discount Card Stock's ~ Kraft and Soot.
The designer paper is Textured Cream Sheet Music from The Paper Studio.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!

True :D

"Frosted Rose Cake" Card...Just For The Fun Of It! :)

Hi Everyone!
I have tons and tons of work that needs done. Several stamp illustrations for Clear Dollar Stamps, some sample cards, some blog post write ups, a special project for an Inky Antics newsletter, and some January submissions for CardMaker magazine, but.... I just had to take a break for a few minutes!
I couldn't resist playing along with the girls over at Split Coast Stampers WT321 "Sweet Treats" challenge.
I have had this sweet Rose Frosted Cake stamp illustrated by Laurie Wilson for Clear Dollar Stamps for quite some time and never inked it up. I decided to give it some well deserved love today and made a super quick and easy card. I think it took less then 15 minutes! ;)

The designer paper is from Basic Grey's "Porcelain" stack.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope your day is a "SWEET" one!

Hugs,
True :D

Creative Charms "Fair Well" Blog Hop and Some Blog Candy!

Looking for the INKY ANTICS blog hop? Scroll down 1 post. ;)
But....
BLOG CANDY ALERT! Read this post too! :)

Hi Everyone!
The new Creative Charms design team is about ready to take the reigns so Midori decided we would do a "Fair well" hop for those of us who are leaving. I have really enjoyed my two terms with Creative Charms
I have had a blast playing with all of that beautiful bling and meeting some amazing artists!
Today's hop is a scavenger hunt of sorts. Each designer will have a "secret word" that will end up being a phrase that you will email Midori, for a chance to win some awesome prizes! It is sure to be a lot of fun!

You should have arrived to my blog from beautiful Jennifer's blog. If you just happened onto mine, you will want to start back at the Creative Charms blog so you can start your phrase from the beginning! :)

Today, I thought I would share a couple of my favorite projects that I have done with Creative Charms products.

This card is both shabby and blingy because it was done with trash! The "designer" paper, flowers and leaves are all made out of old newspaper and Glimmer Mist! The beautiful White Vintage Brad and White Gradient Pearl Stickers add a touch of class to it! ;)
I just have to mention that beautiful Mossy Rock Hand-dyed ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon too! ;)

Another of my favorite Creative Charms projects is this little tote treat bag that I use one of the "Deal of the Month" kits to decorate. These kits are a great way to add lots of bling to your stash without loosing lots of cha-ching from your cash! :)

I have tons more projects that I've made with Creative Charms so after you finish the hop, come on back and take a peek around my blog. :)

Blog Candy Alert!!!!
I am giving away this eclectic collection of fun Creative Charms embellishments.! There are 50 pieces ranging from 1/4" to 3". Some of them are no longer available so you can only get them here! All you have to do is leave a comment and become a follower if you aren't already. My winner will be chosen and announced on Monday May 22nd as will the winners from the Creative Charms blog hop.

OK...my secret word for the phrase is.....HOP
Your next stop is the super talented Ellen's blog.
But wait....don't forget to comment and "Follow" to have a chance at my bling give away!

Thanks so much for hopping by!

Hugs,
True :D

"Happy Easter" Card

Hi Everyone!

Today's project is a fun little bunny Easter card.
With an Inky Antics image, Really Reasonable Ribbon ribbon, and K&Company's ~S.W. - "Spring Blossoms" papers, it's easy to make a cute card! :)

The image is the "Bunny Wonders" stamp from Inky Antics.
The flowers are assorted Primas.
The gems are Creative Charm's ~  Pink Gradient Gem Stickers.
I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's ~ Satin with Grosgrain Edge ribbons in Fuchsia and Moss.

This ribbon comes in many beautiful colors. View them all HERE.
One of the best ways to add them to your collection is to order the pre-mixed assortments.
Right now, Bonnie has them in both Pastel and Dark for just $3.99 for each 10 yard set!

Thanks for dropping by!

I watercolored the image then added in some tabby markings with a grey Prismacolor pencil.
The papers are from The Paper Studios's "Celebrations" stack
The Lime Wrinkled Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I heated it with a heat gun to melt some texture into it.

This is what the whole "Sentimental Kitty" digi set looks like.
It is available now for instant download and it's just $3.00! :)

This set would be adorable paired up with my "Sentimental Puppy" digi set too! :)
He's just $2.50!
