"Celebrate Cupcake!"- And a Video of My English Bulldog Chasing Deer

Hi Everyone!
I have a super quick card and a super quick post.
She has an amazing gallery!
I decided to CASE one of her more simple cards.
Here is mine...

...and here is her card that I CASED.

Very seldom do I ever make a 1 layer card, but I have to admit, it was fun! It took less then 10 minutes too! :)
I used Discount Card Stock's Brilliant White, Really Reasonable Ribbon's Wild Rose Grosgrain ribbon, and  Inkadinkado's Happy Birthday Cupcake stamp set.

I thought I would also share a video of my fur baby Zoey chasing a deer. It's one of her favorite things to do this time of year!
Watch in the video when I'm asking her if she needs to potty. I knew she was wanting to chase deer because she wiggles her back feet when she's excited. ;)

She can run super fast for a few yards but she's a little fat girl, so she runs out of steam really fast. :)

Thanks for dropping by today!

Hugs,
True :D

A CAS Card Done With My Freebie Paper ~ Come Get Yours! :)

Hi Everyone!
Yesterday I posted a freebie digi paper that I created just for my followers as a thank you gesture.
It doesn't get much simpler then using the paper I created!. I already "inked" the edges of the paper digitally and sized it for both 6" x 6" and 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cards.  All I did was print out the smaller size paper, trim it, stamp a nice sentiment, and add a flower and ribbon. I am guessing the card took about 5 minutes to make!
I chose to design my first freebie with lots of assorted colors so it could be paired up with many colors of cardstock or embellishments.
Here is my card....

I think it looks great with that orange Prima flower and the pretty Apple Shimmer Satin ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Both the card base and my "designer paper" are done with Discount Card Stock's - Brilliant White.
If you would like to have my "freebie" digi paper, just become a follower (if you aren't already), leave a comment below, and email me HERE.
See the paper HERE on yesterday's post. :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to drop by again today!

Hugs,
True :)

RRR and CC Duel Design Team Posting + Tutorial. Please Check It Out! ;)

Hello!
Thanks for dropping by!
I had 2 different design teams to post for today and instead of doing them separately and having one get lost in the shuffle, I am doing them together!
These projects incorporate ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon and embellishments from Creative Charms.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you ever hesitated on buying Creative Charm's seasonal themed "Kit of the Month" kits because it is so close to whatever holiday, that you are afraid you wouldn't be able to use it?
Well don't be! They are such a great deal and the majority of the items in the kit will work wonderfully all year long!
Here are a couple of examples of some projects that I used their November "Fabulous Fall" kit on.
Please note the non-Fall looks.  ;)
On this clean and simple card, I just used white cardstock, a piece of Really Reasonable Ribbon's  gorgeous Green Glitz ribbon, some flowers and a beautiful Light Green Vintage Jewel to add that perfect finishing touch.
These are some notebooks that I made for Christmas gifts using some Brown Vintage Poppies for the focal point...again from the Fall kit.
That beautifully sparkling ribbon is Black Sparkle Velvet from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Here is a quick video that I have prepared showing one way to be frugal with your ribbon.
To view full screen, click on the 4 arrows in the lower right hand corner.Then hit your Esc button to go back to normal.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
I would absolutely love a comment from you, so I will know who all took the time to come visit!
CAS "Thank You" Card
Hello!
Sometimes you need a card quick but just can't bring yourself to go buy an impersonal store-bought card.
Or perhaps you are a beginner or want to craft with a kid. CAS  (Clean And Simple) are great for these occations! Although I usually do detailed cards with lots of coloring and "stuff", I like CAS too.
I created this card for "Really Reasonable Ribbon" It only took a 5" piece of this pretty "Funky Pink and Brown Vertical Stripe" ribbon.  that is part of this months Ribbon Club set. This ribbon is only .25 cents a yard so the piece on this card only costs about .04 cents. Not too shabby for a focal point! You could do a gift set of these for a very nice gift without spending hardly anything!
I picked my ribbon first the found 2 pieces of scrap paper that matched. Not a bad way to use up small pieces either! These pieces are from The Paper Temptress out of their "True's Favorites" package that I got to pick! It is on sale now for 20% off. The colors are Cappuccino Mica Metallic and Mountain Rose Glimmer. The card base is their Heavenly White.
The scallops were done with Stampin'Up's scallop punch and the Cappuccino CD was embossed with Cuttlebug Dots folder. Add a Prima flower and a pretty button and viola! A beautiful card in about 15 minutes! I also added a Flourishes sentiment from their "Thankful Hearts" set.
Click on the picture for a close up look at that pretty ribbon and cardstock!
Thanks for dropping by! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I would love to see a comment from you!
You can also head on over to our Really Reasonable Ramblings blog and see what the other girls have been up to lately.
A 13 minute birthday card! fun fun fun!
Hello All!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
I have a one minute post for a 13 minute card! LOL!
I wanted to join in on a couple of SCS challenges today so I picked CAS47 (Clean and Simple)
and LSC253 (Limited Supply) which was to make a card in less then 15 minutes, use something new from Christmas, and incorporate a celebration.
I just bought myself a bunch more "The Paper Temptress" papers (on top of the bunch that Patricia sent me as my DT gift) and some new copics.
I used the laser white and black cardstocks. Are they not gorgeous or what? Who needs a lot of "stuff" when you have papers like this?
The image is Basic Grey and the sentiment is Penny Black.
I also used my new red marker...a little! LOL! wanted to keep it simple but just had to add SOME color!  ;)
Throw on a ribbon and a brad and viola!
I beat the time deadline by 2 minutes too!
I know this is far from my normal type of card but it was a lot of fun. I could get hooked on CAS!
While you are here....Why not sign up for my current blog candy!
I would love it if you left a comment! I adore them!  ;)
Hugs,
True :D
