Welcome to the August Your Next Stamp feature post. Each month the design team uses specific stamps, dies or themes to create a project that will hopefully inspire you.
Another reason to check out the YNS feature each month is that you could win a stamp set of your choice. Inspiration and a prize, sounds like a great reason to head over to the YNS blog.
This month our theme is.......FOR THE KIDS!
This month's theme left open a lot fabulous stamps and dies I could use. I dug into my stamps and inked up an image from QUIRKY ANIMALS FOUR to make a fun birthday card.
When my kids are digging into my card stash to find a birthday cards for
their friends, they look for the cute images and bright colours. I
think this card will work!
Inside the card I stamped in a coordinating colours another image from the Quirky Animal set and the sentiment is from Whatnot Sentiments Two.
Head over to the YNS blog to see all of the Design Team member sharing projects for this month's feature. Leave a comment on the blog post for the August Feature and you will have a chance to win a prize. One lucky stamper will WIN a YNS stamp set of their choice!

Your Next Stamps Sketch/Colour Challenge # 29
Welcome to our sketch and colour challenge # 29 at Your next Stamp.
Create a project based on the sketch and/or colour inspiration. If you are working with the colours, use at least 3 of the colours. You can add only additional neutrals.
For my card I used the super sweet Word Critter Cats and Dogs and the Stitched Square Dies. The paper is Simple Stories We are Family.
I love the puppy in this set. After colouring the image I fussy cut it out and made the dog look like he is relaxing on my card. The sentiment is heat embossed using white embossing powder on brown cardstock. The letters were cut out with a little matting of the brown.
