After spraying the foil with Pam they started with a layer of thinly sliced potatoes, then a layer of thinly sliced carrots, and a handful of corn kernels.
Of course the fun park was to break up the hamburger meat into small pieces and distributed over the pile of vegetables.
Then another layer of vegetables . . . look at his gleeful smile in anticipation of enjoying his creation at the dinner table.
It looks like a generous portion, but there was nothing left after dinner.Jen had made an extra Hobo Stew to share with the rest of us to sample (for we had Pesto Pasta with grilled shrimp for our dinner) and it was quite tasty!
I am sorry that my camera battery had run out of juice by the time the these were cooked and served. But let me tell you, there were two very proud and happy boys at the dinner table. And they enjoyed every morsel of their Hobo Stew!

How Cool. We call that dinner "Chief Tinfoil." I bet that both my name and your name for the meal aren't PC anymore. But, whatever you call it, it's definitely tasty :>
Oh how fun. I've never seen Hobo Stew. That little house guest sure looks thrilled. And CD looks like he's really working. Were there just those two young lads, no JD or KL?

JD was at a birthday party, and KL chose to have pesto pasta and shrimp with the adults!
So love Hobo Stew! And they look like they are having fun "making" their own dinner!!
Hobo stew looks like something I would like to taste, yum!! I can just imagine how that ground beef flavors those veges!! C and friend look pretty happy making it, I bet they looked happy eating it too!!
