I haven't updated the blog in quite awhile but I've had a few requests to do so. This is what we've been up to lately.
Cody began Kindergarten this year at Cleveland Elementary school. He's had a bit of an adjustment period but is doing well and coming home with lots of papers that they worked on in class. We attended his back to school night last night and got to see their daily routine and all of the stuff they will be learning this year. His teacher has been teaching for 43 years and is quite a spunky lady, but firm with the rules so Cody has had to adjust to that since his Preschool teacher wasn't as firm but more loving. Anyhow, Cody loves his recess and P.E. time and has made a few new friends.

We also purchased a new elliptical for me since I have pretty much run my other one into the ground. After having it for 2 weeks it started making noises and not working as it should so we tried everything, from taking the whole thing apart to contacting the company that made it and we decided that it was just defective so we finally took it back and exchanged for a new one. As we were putting the new one together we realized that some of the holes were not drilled to put the screws in and some of the parts didn't align as they should. Poor Daniel, so frustrated decided to drill his own holes and maneuver the unfitting parts to fit. Boy was it fun! 3 hours later it was put together!! So far this one is working okay. But just for the record...don't buy a Norditrack elliptical!!
The final project put together.I have not been crafting too much lately after doing a million burp cloths and onesies for friends and family, but I did decide to make my first diaper cake for my sister-in-law. I've also joined a craft group from my ward but wasn't able to go to the first craft night. I can't wait for the next one. I also got to attend our ward's Super Saturday were I made some cool cards, and etched my name on a pan. Fun times!!
