This was done in the darkness of winter, so the 'best' pics were in the lightbox...but I was also rushing so they aren't great. |

Supernatural Magnolia Mini Messenger (Blue Calla) And More!
Lately I've been focusing on the fun and unique custom fabrics for my purses, but this one gave me a chance to go back to one of the original reasons I wanted an embroidery machine - to add on unique designs and make a purse really special!

Dark Marauder's Map NCW
When I received the order for this NCW, I realized that the fabric I thought I had wasn't the one I actually had. (or maybe I did have it, but it is lost in the black hole of my fabric) Either way, it's been a while since I showed off one of these! I actually made 4 in a row, so there will be more coming up!
I swear I still have the plain black and white fabric...somewhere. |

Unexpected Hobbit Journey - The One With The Baby Diaper Bag (Sincerely Jen)
It seems like lately I've been making mostly smaller items and purses, so this was a BIG change! Don't get me wrong, one of the best things about custom orders is the variety and challenge, but it did take a little bit of a mindset switcheroo to get back into the 'million and twelve' pieces of the bigger bags!
Zippered pouch side, nice and roomy! |

Helmeted Hosta Hobo - (Blue Calla)
I always forget how big the Hosta Hobo is until I start making one. Someday I might try the 'small' one, but so far everyone that wants it for a camera bag wants BIG!
So much pretty PURPLE!! |

Nightmare Necessary Clutch Wallet (Emmaline)
I love the style and many pockets of the Necessary Clutch Wallet, and after making a bunch of them, it's almost becoming easy! I still manage to mess up the pocket folding half the time...but other than that, they come together quickly.

Game of Thrones Bonnie Bucket Bag (Swoon) - Moon Beam Textiles
After doing the 2 quick Clematis zipper pouches, I needed to come up with a project that used both the Moon Beam Textiles strike off fabrics. Bonnie Bucket Bag by Swoon is perfect for showcasing multiple fabrics and a fast sew!

Vintage Trek Lola (Swoon)
There are some patterns for purses that I see and they just don't really draw me in. Lola from Swoon (aff link) was one that I saw and thought, "eh, it's nice but not that great." I have been proven WRONG! This is now my new favorite purse, and I was eyeballing my fabric stash to figure out what the next one is going to be!
The pattern is subtle enough to pass as 'normal' but other Trekkers/Trekkies will get it instantly |

Boldy Go Magnolia Messenger Bag - Moonbeam Strike-off (Blue Calla)
When you need a fast pattern, but want something more complicated than a simple tote bag, the Magnolia Mini Messenger is a great bag!
The embroidery is a nice touch and fits perfectly! |

Riders of Rohan Sandra Saddle Bag (Swoon) - Moon Beam Textiles
The latest amazing fabric I got the chance to play with is the new pre-order now open at Moon Beam Textiles!
I love my new LED lightbox, it actually gets the colors better than the last one, it's just TINY! |

Middle Earth Ramona (Swoon)
Oddly enough, it's rather difficult to find Lord of the Rings purses. There is some fabric out there that is from the movies (digitally printed images) but finding one that is 'cool' enough to become a purse is pretty rare. When I came across the preorder from Affordable Fabrics and More for this awesome Middle Earth map, you know I had to jump on that! I have it in several different colors, but I think the green and tan (aged parchment!) is probably my favorite.
Batman is disappointed because there are no good swimming holes marked |
